I believe it could be argued that Dillian actually has a more impressive resume than the all mighty god that is matchrooms Frankenstein AJ. Let’s base this on that they both win their up coming matches. Remember guys this is the Internet, it’s for fun, and they are not in complete order. Doing this on a smart phone. And yes their maybe spelling mistakes. Joshua notable top 5 wins Wlad - ATG. 41 years old. 2 year lay off after a fury clowning. Life and death. Dropped. Done expectionally well to rally and finish the job. Hats off. Povetkin - once again another 40 year old. Fighting drug free probably for the first time in his career. Pov took some rounds until size and youth took its toll. Good win. Parker - boring safety first fight which either A, showed Joshua’s composure or B, showed his limitations to cleanly land when there’s some spoiling and movement. Also kudos to Parker’s chin. Andy Ruiz - good hand speed. Appears to have a good chin. Not really defeated anyone of note. Out of shape, lost to Parker. ( I had it razor close to Ruiz tbf) Ruiz taken the fight short notice. - was going to put breazelle but we all know what he is, a punch bag, a granite chin with a massive bang himself. So we will go with AJs knockout of dillian himself. I think Joshua generally controlled the fight, got clipped (albeit dillian injured his shoulder doing so) and finished the job in style. Good domestic dust up. Whyte notable top 5 wins Chisora X 2- a fit and motivated chisora. Could be argued chiz won the first, thought the scorecards were generous towards chisora before the knockout. Exceptional knockout where whyte has been looking to time his bingo punch all night. Also he did not have to take this rematch. Others wouldn’t. Chisora had also just iced takam who gave Joshua fits with movement. Rivas- coming off of chinning Jennings, this is a bit of an unknown but due to his lofty rankings would be another scalp (another fight he did not have to take). Jennings might be a bit washed up now. This is Rivas acid test. Short stocky. Would be a good win for whyte over a highly ranked undefeated contender. Parker - war of attrition. Knocked Parker down legitimately. Proved genuine world class power and a class above. Was put on his arse himself, blowing at the end and out on his feet, but because he was out to make a statement that fight. Browne- undefeated browne. Was near enough 50/50 with the bookies going into the fight. Ex world champ.Whyte ran through him and delivered a sickening knockout. Helenius- made light work of helenius who was running scared the whole fight. Helenius still hanging around the top 20 somehow. Was considered a very good win. Thoughts?
Joshua Wlad, Povetkin, Parker, Whyte, Ruiz, Breazeale, Takam. And don't forget that Whyte's 2 biggest wins were somewhat controversial.
My thoughts are you wasted 20 minutes of your life because one cannot have a better resume if that fighter himself is a top 5 win for the other guy !
I put whyte in Joshua’s wins. Was a good domestic dust up. Does fury at the minute have a better resume than wlad, who fury of course clowned. No fury does not.
So if someone has a win over another fighter, particularly when both said fighters were green and just out the amateurs (where whyte took the win) he automatically will forever have the better resume?
If you can't value Joshua's wins clearly over Whyte's, then arguing with you is completely pointless.
You made a thread who has the better resume , even did it with some intelligence to.make it look legit but no one not even the biggest Whyte fan is going to agree with you. You could have made a thread about Joshuas resume directly with more success, using Whyte himself who is Joshuas best knockout victims is automatic fail . Lol
I'm not understanding this post at all . Are you saying that both AJ and Whyte have solid profiles and would make a decent 2nd professional fight ? If so then yes I agree I think Whyte and AJ are both Britain's finest (better than both Furys) . Or are you saying that Whyte has a better record than AJ ? If so then no he does not but he is very close honestly . Both Whyte and Joshua have better records than Fury and Wilder .
The two main separating factors for me are Ajs win over 41 year old wlad, inactive, personal problems, coming off a bad loss Ajs win over whyte in their domestic dust up. Aj has beaten takam. He got body bagged by chisora. Who else haven’t I mentioned? Molina?
