Joshua Fury Wilder Usyk Povetkin Ortiz Whyte Arguable there’s a few more who would beat Whyte too. Whyte is a journeyman level fighter. Domestic level. That’s it.
Please. He'd wipe the ****ing floor with Luis 'Age' Ortiz, he'd beat Povetkin too. Until I see how Usyk handles himself at Heavyweight, I'd pick Whyte to Land a left on him and take him out as well, after all he didn't exactly look like a prime James Toney in the Bellew fight. Wilder would obviously have a chance due to his power but that would be a 50-50. Fury and Joshua soundly beat him him imo, but both have to be careful in that fight
What makes you think he could beat Ortiz? Ortiz was h2h with wilder and is a medalist, infinitely more skilled than wilder. I watch wilder and I see a noob in boxing with heavy weight and hands and beats other journeymen level fighters like Chisora. Same thing for Povetkin, far more proven and skilled than Whyte. Let Whyte beat any top 10 HW first please. Joshua already destroyed him, he will do it even worse this time as Joshua just gets better. So does Whyte but not nearly enough.
Ortiz is slow as ****, has overrated defence and slow ass footwork. As a southpaw he leaves himself open to a left hook when he throws his jab. Whyte could do the exact thing to Wilder if he landed like Ortiz did but he'd finish him off. What does being a medalist have to do with anything fantasy h2h fight? Audley Harrison was a medalist I'd pick Whyte to KO him as well Povetkin would've beaten Whyte if he was younger but he isn't. They trade jabs, Whyte's reach helps him win, they trade Hooks Whyte is quicker and has a better left hook I already said Joshua beats him
Whyte better get title shots after his fight with Rivas , he has earned them no doubt . Wilder will not touch Whyte with a barge pole . It's pretty clear Wilder is avoiding not just AJ or Whyte but will avoid Usyk if he overcomes Takam (I think he will) . It's gonna be tough for Whyte mentally as he is not the mandatory for the WBA , WBO or IBF and we know what's next for Wilder (Ortiz again and Kownacki) .
Whyte already beat Parker from top ten so what crack are.you smoking? Helenius Browne and chisora where all top ten at.one point not far off the time whyte fought them. All that **** you wrote about Ortiz being h2h medallist and he loses to a talentless twat like Wilder just proved yourself wrong. Fact is whyte is ranked number 4 whether you like it or not... and he got ducked by AJ and Wilder... because of the threat he brings... Anyways time will prove how bad your knowledge and predictions are is when Ortiz amounts to jack **** and Whyte accomplishes biigger things. I've been right so far. Im sure you bet against whyte in all his past fights... figures.
Breazeale lines up better then Ortiz does bc Wilder is not that effective against taller guys. It's a real 50/50 fight with who catches who first Breazeale doesn't fight in spurts , it's constant pressure and he has a chin and durability . Whyte rematch gained him a 10 million purse. When was the last time you saw a challenger being offered a rematch ? Lol If your praising Whyte , you must be ecstatic about Ortiz as well ? The running has to stop,if you've been watching boxing before the 90's you know how the business works.
Since when does wilder have problems with taller opponents? He's only faced 1 and that's the best mover in the division and he still dropped him twice. He would champion and should get a higher share in the rematch. Nuff Said Canelo-GGG, Fury-Klitschko Tyson-Lewis No. Ortiz had no reason to avoid AJ. Whyte did
O.K you officially lost me here.I Washington 6'6 won every round up.until 5 with a simple jab. Do you even know that was Breazeales sparring partner he chose over Breazeale at that time ? Fury not power puncher yet caused problems in a back foot strategy. Ortiz and Whyte ran ...Whyte has more room for his reason even if he was offered a rematch win or lose but he sells...whats Ortiz excuse? He's the 500k dollar man ? lol Breazeales going to cause problems you'll see and it will do with nullifying Wilder s reach. Again if you were watching boxing in the 80's you know why you never walk away from title shots, so it's set explained. He makes 2 million or 15 with Joshua , glad your not my manager too...lol
Whyte only had one loss, how is Whyte already a journey man on a 4 year win streak ? Ortiz wouldn't be favored over him at this point. Povetkin would also be in a very difficult fight as would Usyk who Whyte matches up better against u til proven otherwise. Only guys that can cause Whyte fits are Joshua and Fury. Journey man don't do this and Whytes not a stepping stone when he hasn't lost since 2015!
He gets outboxed by everyone, it's not just tall people. He was completely down on points against Ortiz, Duhaupas, Spilka, Arreola, Molina and Spilka backed Wilder up and stunned him. He didn't get a two way rematch clause, it was if Joshua lost to Whyte in the rematch he would get 50% of it. He didn't like that he wanted the lions share as Champion. I completely agree, but Wilder could be outboxed by a blind ten year old. And Spilka caused Wilder problems, I definitely see Breazeale causing problems but not more than Parker or Rivas would. My mum wasn't even born until 1986... Id have had to do some miracle work to manage that.
Browne stopped him later than Allen. Chisora 2* Went life and earth both times, arguably lost firs fight. Rivas He hasn't faced him or beat him yet. Parker He arguably lost, also got a BS KD credit. Joshua He got KO'd after having a slight moment early. No, let's not.
Whyte completely dominated a slightly better version of Browne. Also Allen lost rounds to Browne and wasn't anywhere near as brutal KO He also sparked Chisora out cold with one punch. No one has ever done that, not Fury, not Haye, not Vitali, not anybody. I had the first fight a draw with (obvious) bias to Whyte. So I could definitely see a Chisora win there, but how many people have a first 12 round fight like that? Not one in the HW division No but will hopefully, and it's a much tougher fight than Ortiz will be taking or any of the big 3 are. Regardless of that KD he still would've won easy, he almost every round, from 2 (even without the KD he was winning round 2) to 9 he won them all. Parker won rounds 1, 10, 12. He lost clearly He also got injured and has improved massively, although Joshua still would beat him now Why not? He's facing the best competition so far this year than any other heavyweight and he was froze out for the first few months
Check the RBR, I'm far from the only one that thought that Parker won, IIRC most on the RBR had him edging it. Chisora is a walking corpse at this point, going life and death with him twice is just depressing. Yeah, he's got power... so does David Lemieux and Joe Smith Jr. so what. As far as Browne goes, Allen didn't get a chance to KO him with a head shot, he folded from the first punch that Allen landed clean. How many shots did Whyte have to nail him with before he finally went down
