Whyte had a chance to win the belts , be the man of the division , avenge a loss and earn upwards of £5m Yet you conclude its Joshua who is to blame for the fight not happening ? I have no preference over either fighter but the fight not happening is Whytes fault my friend.
Actually it's Joshua's fault for not bein reasonable, which is kind of the premise/motivation for all business transactions in the world. Buying a house, buying a car, accepting a job offer, selling your playstation... hiring someone. Wilder and AJ quibble over finance, but Wilder is unreasonable. In this instance, Joshua is unreasonable, and he is the one ignoring a 24 Mill pay day off the back of Whyte.
Which is still silly, but why start of negotiations on a negative note? That is not how you want to do business... why even go there with the rematch clause and start at an absurd number?
Not silly at all You start high and go from there Happens in most walks of life Football transers are a prime example
Not a lack of confidence, definitely the opposite seeing as he walked away from it so cool, calm, and collected. He still out here fighting... and knows he will get another chance. I know it. You know it. It will come again, and Whyte will get a higher payday mark my words. Whyte knows its a risky fight, but he won't be taken for a mug twice over, in the rematch too... that pushed him over the edge... and rightly so. Joshua is a leech... sucks ALL OF THE MONEY.... nah man. No way... It's silly when you know the customer has a strong idea of the market and what is reasonable, and you are deliveberately insulting the intelligence of the customer by lowballing (starting high as you put)... it serves no purpose in this specific example because Whyte and Joshua have the same promoter, headlined the same shows... they both have the same knowledge, work in the same business/headquarters... You can't take Whyte for a mug when you have worked alongside him for YEARS. It is a straight up duck of high risk on Joshua's part... He is making Whyte go fetch to justify the risk of fighting Whyte, and Hearn himself told Joshua... look Whyte aint ever going to go for this... You wanna talk about career high paydays... out of all the previous and potential Joshua opponents hardly any of them bar Wladimir approached 5 mill for a fight payday and that's what Whyte earned off Chisora.. So he commands more...for a number of reasons, and you are offering him 4 million. Nope.
He commanded more and his commands were ignored Fair play to him but its a huge risk Bottom line is however he turned down a shot at glory And the WBC are going to ignore him too
