Completely agree. And this is partly due to him never taking responsibility for his development. The guy's had five trainers, as if he thinks any shortcoming is someone else's fault not his. And when he went to Hunter - a trainer who likes his boxers in the gym year round to drill technique - Amir went missing for months on end.

So much talent, so little dedication to honing that ability and ironing out flaws...

I just read a piece today on him still claiming his "elite-ness" and that he still feels he could beat Keith, Manny and Danny (who has already dispatched him brutally). His level of hubris is amazing.

Yup. Thing is I used to really like Khan as a boxer right up until the moment he decided being a 'superstar' was a greater priority to him than being a super boxer. His two biggest weakness were IQ and chin, and dedication to learning his craft would have raised former and protected the latter. You can definitely vastly improve ring IQ - it can be learned - but unless that comes naturally a boxer has to be prepared to work hard. He wasn't.

Now what are we left with? Dodgy chin, awful IQ, mahoosive ego and delusions of grandeur. And now he's traded out 'heart' - which he apparently had in spades prior to Crawford - by quitting the first time someone fronted up his boxing skills and showed a better repertoire.

The hubris is a mask to cover all this up.

    He doesn't believe it.
Khan had heart. Canelo took it and sacrificed it to the Aztec gods.
