that's not true at all , most are anticipating a relatively competitive fight .... Marketability is another story. I view Ruiz an equal threat to Joshua as Miller which still isn't encouraging of his chances. MOST boxing experts haven't even caught on how hard it is to defeat Joshua as most self proclaimed experts are thick as hell.
Really? The betting odds don't reflect that and I for one don't think it will be competitive. I'm expecting a very one side fight. Best case scenario is Joshua tries too hard to impress and is out of sorts fighting outside of the UK for the first time and ends up trading early and Ruiz catches him with a few shots before Joshua calms down and establishes his jab and breaks down Ruiz inside 6 rounds. But in all honesty I don't expect even that, Ruiz is going to look dangerous early but not land much and Joshua eventually catches him coming in and then brutally KO's him.
I doubt Ruiz will get close to him often but it would be nice if they could find a referee who will leave them to find inside if Ruiz does somehow manage to close the gap.
Just like Jarrell Miller, I've never seen Ruiz backup in watching most of his fights. He is a very strong heavyweight for a shortish guy. Doesn't seem to be manhandled very easily. he's always on the front foot, and brings that relentless pressure. Will be interesting to see if the bodybuilder Joshua can put this behemoth blob on the backfoot. If he can't, I fear the flab might just devour Anthony whole. Even Parker didn't risk getting into brawl with Ruiz on the inside.
