Ezzard Charles wasn't viewed as lineal champ until he beat Louis, who retired.

All but one. But that doesn't matter as when Tyson was undisputed with his alphabet titles, before he beat Spinks he wasn't lineal. Another lesser known example is when Terrel had his WBA belt, despite being older than the WBC, it was not more prestigious than Ali's due to him having the lineal belt. It trumps all.

No it doesn't. Lineal status cannot be stripped. It litterally can't be
