I Just thought Barry could have easily put him in place on screen instead of off screen, and that's what i mean't by bottled it, was just a tongue in cheek reply to the poster i was replying too, not to be taken too seriously. And no there's no personal interest, no relation and i'm not him, just someone who likes to root for the unheralded or people who try to achieve things against the odds, and i'm sure i'm not alone.
You will be here. Nobody who follows the sport wants to see this method of ranking manipulation work, and yes we all love an underdog achievement against the odds. But that’s just it.....Against the odds. Patel is going around European gyms beating up novices or paid off veterans to weasel a way to an undeserved pay day.He isn’t trying to learn the ropes away from the spotlight,he is trying to con his way to a title shot. I would respect him a lot more and maybe root for him if he rematched the guy who got robbed against him in his last UK contest and then get in the mix at domestic level. He doesn’t belong in the ring with a world champion and not only would it be a total waste of time,it would be verging on dangerous matchmaking.
When I saw the words Prince Patel Watch I thought someone had asked what Mickey Mouse uses to tell the time.

That’s the most positive you can be? He could get on his toes and make it last a few rounds. You should get behind a real pro’s pro like Josh Wale or even Dave Allen if you want to see against the odds underdog success.
Depending on who he fights he could do possibly more who know's ? I'm behind all British boxers, just because I've started a thread on PP doesn't mean i'm some kind of superfan of his and have a need to be positive about him, i'm just curious on how he progresses with his career ( now he's WBO #3) and this is a thread to stay updated as he gets no or very little coverage in the media or internet these days.
Ok thanks. But the thread is not about his ability, it's about his chances of fighting for a world title and how he has managed to get himself in the position he has, and some people are interested in how he gets on now he is world ranked. Coming on to a thread to just say boxers are shite without any substance is a bit low and just comes across as hating imo, something we could all do without tbh, peace.
Id love to see him fight for a world title It means id witness him getting the crap out of him Odious little rat he is
Plenty of substance to it, if you want a debate with me on boxing I will stand you on your head. You can pick the topic. The fact he wouldnt beat any British domestic bantamweight and has to leave the country to fight semi pro boxers to get a world title shot and people support that is the problem. Look this guy up Juan Hinostroza. Got a draw with Patel and he was robbed. Plenty more boxers deserve more opportunities than this conman. I don't hate him, I pity him, one of the most insecure people I have ever seen in boxing. And people who support this way of doing it is why boxing in other countries is dying and the UFC is smashing it. Only my opinion though.
In no way am i or is this thread intended to support PP, we all know he's manufacturing his way to a title shot and this thread maybe viewed as a way of exposing this, be interesting to see how it eventually plays out.
