Get it? Holyfield....blasphemy?? Anyway lets say the best cruiser version of the Holy Man fought Lyle, Bonavena, Shavers and Norton. Could he prevail or would he be punished for his blasphemy??

I get it, it's adding to my utter confusion at this post though. If an ATG cruiser fought middling heavyweights of yesteryear how would he do? He'd beat them probably. All but Norton I think.

Fights like Lyle and Shavers could turn on one big punch and Holy wasn't shy to brawl. He'd drop one somewhere. Norton would be a great fight to watch.

But Holy also has dealt two hardest hitters of his era in Tyson and Foreman. But he was a heavyweight by then. So who the hell knows how much difference the weight makes.

Lyle vs Holyfield, Holyfield TKO 7+ (Definitely getting hurt and probably dropped when he started brawling)
Shavers vs Holyfield, Holyfield TKO 4+
(Fun fight while it lasts, with who ever lands hurts the other. But Holyfield was quicker and had better timing so I go with him)
    Norton vs Holyfield, Holyfield MD
(Close, fairly entertaining scrap with lots of short exchanges, I favour Holyfield due to his speed, but without much conviction. He could also get a TKO of he landed clean)
    Holyfield vs Bonavena, Holyfield UD
(Clear win, once sided Holyfield uses his physical gifts to win this one, Bonavena lasts the distance though)

Oscar gives him the best fight and possibly wins. He beats the rest without to much of a problem imo.

Does he get a competent ref? DQ by the 3rd round he loses all.

Stops Lyle after hitting the deck in a war

    Stops Shavers early-mid rounds

    UD's Bonavena

Eeks out a UD against Norton, might be called a robbery afterwards

What? Like a Hagler vs Leonard robbery? or an Ali vs Jones robbery?

I think if he was 185-190 lbs fighting Tyson and Foreman it may have been a different story. Although Larry Merchant said while commentating on Foreman/Holyfield "from what we've seen tonight I don't think it would make any difference if Holyfield weighed 190 pounds...the same thing would be happening". Although if he was 190 pounds fighting a young Foreman, that may be a tall order.

So debatable for both sides? With the agendas trashing the others

This. I’d back Holyfield to beat them all, since he was actually a better fighter when he was lighter. When he started putting on the muscle he lost a lot of speed and even his timing and stamina suffered much like when Moore started coming in at 185+.

I do think that the black hercules would pose a big problem much like he did to Ali and Holmes. Especially being the bigger man.
