Canelo has the better, snappier jab between the two. When they fought Golovkin, Canelo showed that he could jab with Golovkin. Jacobs showed that he could push out a soft somewhat ineffective push of a jab out there.

Canelo has a decent jab but he doesn't rely on it, nor does he use it for extended periods of time. Jacobs doesn't have Golovkins jab but the range advantage he'll have over Canelo will close the gap.

Right now, I see Canelo wearing himself out chasing Jacobs and eating counters n the early rounds... As some of you guys mentioned, it's going to be hard for Canelo to get inside. The middle rounds are competitive, but Jacobs starts recklessly whaling in the 11th and 12th and may or may get the stoppage... a KD may suffice. Jacobs TKO12 is my biased and wishful prediction.

My gut feeling since this was announced has been Clenelo and it was telling me via stoppage too, probably late. Jacobs was lucky to come away 2-0 in his last 2 fights IMO and if he wasn't he only pulled it out by the slimmest of margins. Granted Clenelo was very lucky in both his last 2 fights that went the distance too but he seems to be be improving and I don't think he would've struggled against Sulecki and Derevyanchenko like Jacobs did albeit they'd both cause him problems, especially the later.

If Jacobs gets on his bike and fights scared like he did against GGG he could pull it off though and he does have good hand speed and he can really crack and catch you with sneaky shots you don't see coming and he is the naturally bigger man here.

I don't think Jacobs will be able to withstand the body shots. Jacobs doesn't have the slickness required to beat Canelo. A fully prepared BJS might pull it off. Jacobs, I'm not sure. I hope I'm wrong though. I'd love to see Jacobs dismantle the ginger.

To be honest I believe the only reason this fight was made ( by Oscar ) is because Jacob's is past his peak. I believe he is also. I want Jacob's to win but I'm taking Canelo

I predict there will be a lot of whining about the scorecards regardless of which way it goes(barring a KO of course).
