Ali was winning the round & landed his best punches until the body shot. Seemed trigger happy to stop the fight. Ali wasnt taking flush head shots, was hurt to the body but before that seemed Ali was starting to get in a good rhythm. That was weird as the Byrd saying show me something was t premature

Sadam Ali got his head snapped back at least 3 times that I can remember... Yes, the stoppage was ever so slightly premature, but it is far away from a controversial stoppage. Personally, I would have liked to see 10 or 20 seconds more, just to be sure...

 

For a throwaway undercard fight, it was a legit enough stoppage. Ali hunched over, clinched like three times, didn’t throw a punch for a very long time, and was pinned against the ropes when Bryd stopped it. He basically forced Bryd’s hand. He might’ve wanted out.
