This. I seen first hand that GGG is cold as ice. I still don’t see why Abel was shocked. I’ve seen GGG at two different gyms with Abel and seen he was strictly business with everybody (including Abel himself). GGG didn’t like anybody talking to him unless it was business related and both times he tried to lowball his sparring partners, which resulted in Abel having to resolve everything, since GGG didn’t give a squat about what gym owners or sparring partners in Los Angeles thought of him.

The two times I seen GGG in person was at the Kaminsky Boxing gym and my trainer's old gym the Fight Factory. GGG wouldn't talk to anybody other than Abel and when somebody other than Abel talked to him GGG would look at Abel, who would tell everybody not to waste GGG's time. Needless to say GGG and Abel by association rubbed everybody from the fighters to even the trainers the wrong way. Even the sparring partners were instructed not to have unnecessary conversation with GGG. This I can't really criticize GGG too much for, since this just seems to be his personality.

However, at both gyms GGG had Abel tell the sparring partners that they weren't worth their full pay and they were only getting a portion of what was originally promised. I'm assuming GGG didn't think they gave a good enough effort when they were sparring him. At the Kaminsky gym GGG had the guts to tell his three sparring partners, who were bigger fighters (all super middleweights) that he was going to short them on their pay and the Kaminsky gym is a very tiny gym just to put everything in perspective. I think they would've jumped on both him and Abel if the Gym owner Tolik didn't step in and resolve everything, since they got really pi**ed. Even though everything eventually got resolved it was Abel that had to come out of pocket to pay the fighters the difference that GGG wasn't going to pay them, since Tolik wouldn't let Abel and GGG leave until the fighters were properly paid.

I thought to young adult and somehow you start liking your student, even if they don't care and it is business for them. You start liking them just by teaching and talking to them. A trainer must have the same kind of relationship with his athlete, even though it is a professionnal relationship. You get invested in there, otherwise you don't do a good job.

The entire outfit seems more befitting of a 1960's casino manager or a South American cocaine trafficker. Not that Gennady doesn't look super clean, he does, but not just anybody could get away with wearing this, only a stud of Golovkin proportions.

Jonathan Banks is the reason that Wlad lost to Fury and AJ. He is a terrible trainer.

I always knew GGG' nice guy persona was completely manufactured, that's why I don't care that Canelo got lucky against him the first time.

To be honest, it was Abel Sanchez who went public first and expressed his hurt, dissapointment and mentioned financial reasons. GGG has every right to respond in kind.
