That aside, I totally agree with the sentiment that there’s butt load of threads about GGG, although it’s not his status that should be questioned, only the intentions of thread starters.

I'm not sold on Banks as a trainer, honestly.

Not that I'd expect someone working with their first major fighter to be able to step in and be Manny Steward, but I don't think he added anything to Wlad at all. Maybe he's used that experience to grow and will be a better fit for GGG.

Clown move. Who the hell has Banks developed, he was given a premade ATG HW in Wlad just out of convenience. I also recall how happy Banks was when AJ KO'd Klitschko.

 

If there is a trainer out there i don`t like it`s Roach and Banks. Johnaton Banks is usless. What he really did with Whyte and Klitschko ? Both get KOed by Joshua.
I know Klitschko start decline because of age, but Banks have part in that too. I doubt Klitschko would ever lose if Manny was still alive.
He would advice him when to hang up the gloves atleast.
Banks was there, because he was part of the team. Klitschko was without a trainer. Klitschko said he was training by himself and use his methods, not Banks(does he even have methods?).
Sorry but Banks can`t do a s**** for Golovkin, just like he didn`t do s**** for Klitschko, if he did it makes him worst and clinches more(age factor as well).
This is a move that scream, he is there just to be there. And that is probably a money move. Banks won`t take much money for "training" GGG.
