    Herrera's been on the down side for a little while, but that was a pretty clinical display of power-punching by Vergil. If he continues to progress, he could develop into something special.

    I'd been remaining guardedly skeptical about Vergil's previous biggest stoppage victories, chalking them up to him just having caught Roberto Ortiz and Juan Carlos Salgado as they were each on a sharp decline - but a pattern is starting to emerge. Massa Ortiz was a pretty good fighter in his day, and was never wrecked early like he was by VGO - and ditto for Sugar JC. Granted this was no daisy-fresh version of Herrera but he is hardly shot, and nobody has ever done that.

    I'm now officially a believer - kid's a BEAST. :deal:

    thank you,thought I was going soft,only I've those punches before and I'm telling you if the ref hadn't of jumped on I dread to think of the consequences,getting hit when you're knocked out with zero defence is brain damaged on top of brain damage.
