    Álvarez is stalking, jabbing the body, looking to launch a big right hand upstairs as Jacobs remains southpaw, ducking and rolling out the side door after tickling Álvarez with ambush right jabs. Nice double right hooks downstairs from Jacobs, sliding out immediately after landing. Álvarez following, jabbing hard into the gut, eats a left, and puts on his earmuffs. Álvarez picks off a couple of left jabs from Jacobs, now orthodox. Álvarez gone defensive in the final half-minute.

    Jacobs needs to stick to the center of the ring. It's where he is most effective. On the ropes he fights defensively and Alvarez is getting the better of him.
