There’s a severe difference in the 185 lb Jacobs vs 173 lb Jacobs

Jacobs uses his physicality and strength, he wasn’t able to do that tonight though. It wasn’t the same guy who fought Golovkin.

Yeah he was, all the elite fighters that canelo fought
Mayweather - Domination and 11-1 10-2 to Floyd,

GGG - First fight - dominated by GGG
Second fight - Bit closer but a comfortable win for GGG

Lara - Fairly close and would have understood one judge giving it a draw or tight to Canelo, two judges going for Lara

Jacobs - Very close fight 7-5 Canelo, 6-6 or 7-5 Jacobs, Canelo gets all three

Trout - 53/47 fight for Canelo, pathetic scorecards as usual

Cotto - Past prime, clearer win for Canelo

Out of all of those he maybe won 2 max + 3 very obvious losses to GGG and May, one fairly clear loss to Lara and arguable loss to Trout.

You accept corrupt decisions if they favor your heroes
GGG 2-0 is a FAIR result.

Lets make GGG vs Canelo 3 next assuming GGG looks good against Rolls. GGG is already old lets not wait. Andrade can go lose to Derevyanchenko, give me Jacobs vs Charlo or Charlo vs Korobov 2 assuming they both win their upcoming matches.

Danny held his own and avoided the inside mop job from Canelo

I was wrong as I expected Canelo to crush him on the inside and stop him

Props to Danny for not giving an inch but his power and stamina went quicker than I expected

I though Froch was pretty fair, he had it a draw and praised Jacobs whenever he did good work. The others not so much

I'm saying it right now, Gennady Gennadyevich Golovkin has ruined Canelo.:deal:

The evidence was there for all to see tonight. Canelo noticeably slowed after the 6th, his defense wasn't as sharp, he was visibly stunned, but hid it well, he was laying on the ropes, at times shelling up, but taking shots. If that were GGG in there tonight, he'd have stopped that version of Canelo.:deal:

Come the rematch, Canelo gets KO'd in 8.
