I have also seen the judges cards and think there are a couple of other rounds (split by judges that should not have been) that I don’t agree with for BOTH fighters. The difference is I have SEEN the fight. You hate Canelo and you love calling EVERY fight a robbery. Why on earth are you looking for Skullduggery (props on the use of the word) in a fight you have not seen. You could have “found time” to watch it twice in the amount of time you have spent here exposing something you have not watched. Just watch the fight already
Jacobs took 10 on my scorecards, but still I have it 116-113 Canelo. So if you're questioning judges scorecards, you should make the same poll for round 11, which 2 of them gave to Jacobs although it looked like a clear Canelo round to me and to the majority of people. In other words, the argument in this thread is flawed and if we look at the fight altogether, most people do not see it as controversial (contrary to GGG fights).
The agenda is bad judging, it looks like your defending it. Your contribution is over for me in this thread, you agree it was a badly scored round that Canelo needed to avoid a draw or loss on the card....that is if you understand how to add. No more replies, please.
My scorecard : Round Canelo Jacobs 1 - 9 - 10 2 - 10 - 9 3 - 9 - 10 4 - 10 - 9 5 - 10 - 9 6 - 10 - 9 7 - 10 - 9 8 - 10 - 9 9 - 9 - 10 10 - 9 - 10 11 - 10 - 9 12 - 10 - 10 Total 115 - 113 Between the rounds, the fight itself is very tight and close. There are several rounds that I really don't know whether I should give the point to Canelo or Jacobs. I have Jacobs winning round 9 and 10 as he was more convincing at those rounds. But in round 4-8, I give it to Canelo. Especislly round 4 and 5, those were definitely Canelo's rounds. He displayed an excellent defense, especially his body movement and beautiful but effective and accurate technique.
And like I said, I found(can´t remember which one now) a round Ward won but the judges gave it to Kovalev. But on the subject of Alvarez-Jacobs; did the 2 judges know they would give Jacobs the 11th and 12th? How could they know Alvarez needed that 10th round? Your theory seems to be based around the fact that Alvarez had already won 6 rounds, so two of the judges decided they would secure the deal with the 10th? Then how come the third judge didn't do the same? He also had him up by 6 before the 10th. Why did he wait till the 11th? It makes no sense.
What a strange thought, to preemptively attempt to paint a fight shady when you haven't watched a second of it. Are you ok buddy?
Sky Sports have already uploaded the fight to their YT channel Not sure if it can be viewed across the pond though This content is protected
This is almost my exact scorecard. Difference is I gave Jacobs 6 and 8 then Canelo the 12th. I've got the impressive from reading here that most people gave Canelo the first half of the fight. But those early rounds were all close with neither fighter doing much. It's nice to see somebody else scored it the same way I did.
I can’t stand canelo but in my eyes he won the fight quite easily. Jacobs never got going till the he mid rounds which you can’t do in Vegas against canelo anytime. But the ginger knob did enough to win this fight
