If his pro-Jacobs or anti-Canelo bias were that strong, why the FUCK wouldn't he just score it to Jacobs outright? There's literally nothing stopping him. Froch isn't a judge, isn't subject to censure from any body - the only thing he would get fired off TV for would be if he suddenly for whatever reason ceased to be a celebrity among UK boxing fans (which is never happening) or was mired in some kind of "me too" like scandal that made it politically untenable for him to continue on as commentator. LOADS of pundits have turned in questionable scorecards, nobody would even bat an eyelash if Froch had come out with, say, 118-110 Jacobs or summat ridiculous like that. If anything his draw shows that he kept his bias in check and gave Canelo plenty of credit.
Buy some glasses. Outclassed in first three rounds LMAO, a joke man, both were so passive in first three rounds, and the first round was a CLEAR Jacobs round my gosh, Canelo didn't land anything. Canelo threw 20 punches in the first round and landed 4(!!!), he landed 1 single jab in the first round. Jacobs outlanded him in the second round aswell. Calling that OUTCLASSING is a joke. Rd4,5 were strong Canelo rounds but 1,2,3 were everything but dominant from Canelo. Especially 1,2. Rewatch the fight man. You're blind.
Froch is lazy. He could be a good pundit, but it's no secret that he doesn't even bother to prepare himself. He just goes in there, no ideas of what to say and just...says stuff. A lot of the time he has no clue who he's commentating on unless it's a major fight with popular fighters. Anybody is better than Johnny Nelson though. Regarding commentary....CAN WE HAVE ANDY LEE ON COMMENTARY PLEASE SKY?!!! Like...for all the big fights, every single one? He is the best boxing analyst in the UK by a COUNTRY MILE. Only seen him on once or twice and he is the only one who doesn't talk nonsense. He is the example and the rest should follow, Froch included. I'm gonna eat my hair if I see Froch and Bellew commentating the AJ fight! ANDY LEE NOW!!
Because there was no way he could score the fight for Jacobs, he leaned towards him at first and was argued out of his viewpoint by his two colleagues.
Jacobs was missing everything in the first three rounds, Canelo was potshotting with ease, Jacobs was missing with all his jabs.
Canelo landed 13 jabs in first three rounds. Jacobs landed 18 jabs in first three rounds. What are you talking about? If Jacobs missed literally everything with his jab in first three rounds, what did Canelo? He landed less than Jacobs in Round 1 and 2 - in general. He was outworked by Jacobs in first two rounds though. No reason to talk about "domination" or such stuff. It wasn't. Dominant were Rds 4 and 5. You can't even read simple numbers. LOL. Better stop embarassing yourself here with some crazy theories.
The numbers are bull, he was landing anything and Canelo outlanded him easily in the first 3, but faded at the end.
You're talking rubbish, strange talk, you have some handicaps obviously. No problem. I stop arguing with you on that point.
