Would Canelo Alvarez, Danny Jacobs, and GGG be able to compete with the Fabulous 4 from the 80’s?

Alvarez proved against Jacobs he would have evaded a lot of the fab 4`s punches specifically Ray`s because he would be moving and not punching a lot, however it was a flawed performance and I feel he tired and Hagler may have worn him down, how would Canelo fare against Hearns though? I don`t think Jacobs could have taken the same amount of shots from Tommy that he easily took from Saul. How would the inferior Jacobs and the brilliant GGG have fared against the fab 4?

    Absolutely.

GGG might not have a great resume but he's an outstanding fighter. A great jab, excellent ring-cutter, vicious body puncher, and a fundamentally sound boxer. A fighter who's never tasted the canvas in his entire career. A fighter who can't be clearly outboxed, even at the age of 37. He deserves credit for his ability and longevity. He could compete with the fabulous 4 and beat them all at his best.

Canelo is a natural counter-puncher and one of the best defensive fighters today. I like the variety in his counters, he counters to the head and the body. The only fighter out of fab 4 who beats Canelo is Marvin Hagler. Relentless pressure, body punching, legit power, an educated right jab and a granite chin. I don't think Duran could beat Canelo tbh. Canelo is a very slick inside fighter. He's no Iran Barkley. Canelo also has better head movement and defense than Hagler. Canelo beats Duran. I don't know about Hearns and Leonard. Hearns wasn't a great inside fighter but he'd outbox Canelo on the outside. Does Canelo have enough power to take Hearns out? Idk. I haven't seen Leonard vs Hagler in a long time. I won't comment on Canelo vs Leonard.

Hearns would most likely get starched by a prime GGG. His chin and ring IQ were way too shakey to be a sure bet against Canelo and Jacobs.

Leonard was not very special at 160. He'd be fortunate to go 2-1.

Hagler might get through all three, but maybe not if he got caught at the end of his career. Canelo could be very competitive with him if Duran could.

Jacobs would be stopped by Tommy. Stopped by Hagler.. good fight with Duran. outboxed by Ray. I think Hearns knocks out Canelo and also GGG.. GGG is the toughest for him, but I think he would stop him. Hagler would beat all of them. Leonard? I think he would also. Duran? I think Duran beats GGG. That is the fight for him. Canelo would be tough, but I think he could reach him also. that era was a little better.

I didn't know Duran even counted in this....He'd probably go 0-3 but finish each fight.

You're claiming Duran would go 3-0?

    Yes

Hell I think a WW Armstrong would beat WW Canelo, and Duran filled in much better at Welter and Middle

If you made Duran pickem against all three (he'd really be an underdog), his odds of going 3-0 would be rougly 1/8, discounting the chance of a draw.

I'd say Duran's best chance is against Canelo if Canelo decides to be aggressive like he was in GGG 2. I'd say that Duran's performance against Hagler proves that he can beat Canelo fighting like that. Id favor him over GGG too.

Jacobs would be the most tricky fight for Duran stylistically, but Duran is simply levels above Jacobs

During the 80's, he lost to Hagler, Hearns, Robbie Simms, and Leonard at 160. His only notable win at that time was a SD over Barkley,
