Canelo and Jacobs clearly weren't on those vitamins they took for Golovkin!

    Whilst watching their bout on Saturday I soon realised that both Canelo and Jacobs were nowhere near the fighters that faced Golovkin.

    Their physique didn't look half as impressive and their performance was poor. Watching Canelo throw that left hook, it was nowhere near as fast, explosive and powerful. If that version of Canelo fought Golovkin he would be put in an early grave.

    I think it's pretty clear to see that to face Golovkin you have to eat endless surplies of Mexican beef just to last the 12 rounds. Basically these chemically modified freaks need to go full mutant to live to tell the tale.

    Both didn't look half as explosive to me, those wonder drugs make a hell of a difference.

    Could be as simple as this. They were getting a fat payday and didn't want to mess their hair for the afterparty. Golovkin turns everything into a fight so they had to pull out their A game or get sent home in traction.

    I agree, but it was a much more technical fight (from Highlights as I still can't find it or get DAZN)

    Maybe it was just the clash of styles but both fighters looked very flat from my observations. Canelo particularly wasn't half as fast and explosive, his left hook was much slower and Jacobs blocked it easily every time. I have suspicions when he looked like Superman against Golovkin and looked very mortal on Saturday night.

    I disagree, I watched the Golovkin rematch replay for the first time last week and that bout was a technical masterclass from both fighters. In that bout though they were throwing boulders whereas on Saturday it looked more like pebbles.

    I thought it was pretty standard stuff for Canelo,do know why I keep getting sucked into calling Canelo by knockout,he looks explosive but his record suggests his power ain't all that?
    His skill level is something else,slipping shots at will and unlike Jacob's who looked desperate,Canelo keeps his shape on every shot.
    That said he's not in the top three PFP imo on account of him letting opposition back into the fight and making the fight up for debate.

    Of course Clen was roided to the gills for GGG.

    They clearly tapered down for Jacobs knowing they could not possibly lose a decision.

    HE picked him apart anyways.
