Yes, a lot of nuthuggery people. You can use those types of fanatics to prove any point you want for or against any fighter you want.

Plenty of GGG fans, myself included, thought it was nothing more than a lame fight and a cash grab while he was waiting to land the Canelo fight.

Canelo-Khan and GGG-Brook were, from a legacy perspective, meaningless fights that happened 4 months apart. Both should've been eschewed in favor of them fighting each other a year sooner than they did.

I cannot wait until Benevidez finally gets his bare hands on Canelo and gives him a taste of his own medicine.

Moonelo would come in at about 180 fight night if they fought at 160
Spence oughta make Moo fight at 154 with a 165 rehydration limit & fight in Cowboys Stadium TEXAS!!!!!

I'm really not a fan of guys leaving divisions with such a clear rival in place, but it is what it is. I don't think Errol's done enough that he can say "mission accomplished" at 147, but if he's cool with Haymon keeping the other top dogs away from him, what option does he have but to move up?

Interesting. Canelo would win but if Spence wants to try then might as well let him. Not like him and Crawford or Thurman will be fighting soon

Spence ain't biting on that bs that Oscar is selling. He is on a mission that will conclude with Crawford. After that, Canelo might get his shot. For now he needs to contend with Andrade who is calling him out every chance he gets. As for Oscar, why don't he get his gay ass in there with Spence.

Some people are actually not ok with this? Jeez.
As an example: Tito was Bernards best win, and he was a career Welter until he moved up and nearly got sparked by one-eyed Reid ffs (and after everyone with a brain saw Felix lose decisively to ODH) , and that win is great for Bhop. Who did Bernard fight that people were like "Oh he won't fight X"?

Canelo on the other hand has fought nearly every single guy many said he would avoid. Sure I don't feel he won them all, but he showed well at least and it's not like Canelo goes into a fight sayingg "You got this, Judges! *wink*". Now there are talks about him fighting a guy who nearly everyone says is a huge welter, and is "the truth" and in his prime, but Canelo gets ripped for it and now Spence is too small?

Nothing ever satisfies the fans. No wonder Manny and Floyd hand picked opponents. It doesn't matter because it's never enough for some fans.In terms of perceived threat (not any BS rankings) I can't remember a fighter since Oscar who fought this many perceived threats in their prime. Boxing fans are poisonous.

Let's make Canelo vs Hurd with 0 rehydration. "Previously on the Fighting Dead".

Meh. I'm about as excited for Canelo / Spence as I am for GGG / Rolls.

An entirely missable fight except for the Clenelo ball danglers.

There's like 0,1% chance of Spence beating Canelo at 160 and that's if Canelo trips over one of Oscar's spoons in the dressing room and blinds himself in one eye.

:D Now that is a great suggestion. Spence obviously wants to rehydrate to, like, 168 to weight-bully Canelo, and as we all know, Canelo isn't a real middle weight. 155 is, after all, Canelo's preferred weight. They should weigh in at 155 in the morning of the fight ;)

Realistically CJ, Canelos calling the shots isn't he, any demanding and it wall fall on deaf ears, or be blatantly laughed at and they'll move on

Yep, that's the one I am waiting for but I suspect GBP and Canelo will find a reason not to allow that to happen. Benavidez will kick his ass.
