Hunter vs Takam on May 25 - why not?

Since when did Hunter become so good?

 

We both fought at the desert showdown 2007, he was good then.

 

When did gassiev become a well rounded enough fighter to lead anybody to believe he would even want to fight mike hunter?

When he beat Lebedev, Wlodarczyk, and Dorticos.

 

Sounds like Hearn is actually the only promoter making fights happen and keeping to the plans saving events and people's tickets . Still makes an interesting fight Hunter V Takam and Joshua V Ruiz both fights I want to watch .

 

Really hope It can be made, worried about Hunter though - has he been in a proper camp? Can’t imagine he’d take it this soon if not.

 

Like I said, put him against hunter. Then send him on vacation for life.

 

Hunter would of been training , too many fights upcoming and being second to AJ Ruiz you'd still train as you never know who gets injured . Hunter is prepared as best he can be at short term notice . Both AJ Takam are large men and Takam was training for someone smaller so it makes sense .

 

good opponent, but that is NOT a main event fight. that is definitely a warm up fight.... Especially in America, where both fighters are virtually unknown.

 

Povetkin already fought TAKAM. he was the first to KO him.

 

A rematch? Ok, maybe it wasn't the best idea. Well, it seems Hearn is trying to make Takam vs. Hunter.

 

it doesn't matter, I guarantee u, the arena is gonna be half empty, if not even more... Back in september I went to see a fight, Victor Ortiz was supposed to fight Eric Molina, but just a few days before the fight, Ortiz was arrested on **** charges, and he didn't fight... and literally nobody showed up.. I've never seen such a big arena so empty. Eddie/Matchroom can lose tons of money at the gate.
