In hindsight Akkaway was exposed against a good opponent in Ryder imo due to fighting basically 1 world class opponent in 22 fights in Decarolis.
There is no excuse considering that division has others like him that don't want to fight each other like Murdoch,Dunn,Mitchell and Jerkic that seem to be happy building there records up against mostly bums to get these big shots, which to many of them seem to be getting exposed like Akkaway yesterday who I still believe has the tools to have some success but needs the experience against better opposition.

Good list I would probably have Kambosos over Tszyu and Lewis

He definitely didn't have tools to handle a southpaw, saw that from the first round and immediately regretted my pick, thought being in the Canelo camp he'd pick up the tools namely footwork but it just wasn't there, that's what I get for assuming, should have changed my pick when they put it back in the card cause he wasn't there there to be showcased

He wasn't just exposed he was humiliated by an above average fighter.

I didn't have any $ on him but the aussie factor played a part in me picking him in the league by SD but like I said Akkaway could of done with even a little taste of fighting on the bigger stage against decent opposition like Ryder,as he showed signs of looking like a deer in headlights which hopefully doesn't have a negative effect on rest of his career as I think at 25 with no amateur experience I still believe he has decent potential with more time with this new camp

I think that he will be dropped from Canelo's camp after such a poor performance.

    * George Kambosos Jr hopes to fight early June.
    * Cheeky May hopes to be fighting in UK June.
    * No word yet if Daniel Lewis will be basing himself in the States. Lewis trains in Sydney at Southside Boxing Gym Caringbah under trainer Gary Shaw ( trained Daniel Geale / Paul Gallen.)
    * Tim Tszyu believes a Judah fight will be sellout.
" What a fight that would be in Aust . If the opportunity arises we would take it. Something like that would bring a lot of interest to the Aust public, everyone would tune in. ''
    * Dennis Hogan next fight will be in the States in the fall . Plans have been laid out for Hogan on the road back to a world title shot. Details to come in following weeks.
    * Rigondeaux WBA no 2 at 118 lbs is returning June 23 at 126 lbs . Lets hope WBA adjusts its rankings and no 3 Jason Maloney will move to no 2.
    * DBS mentioned about Aust SMW reluctant to face each other and this is a problem in Aust boxing with most promoter's going the route of paying sanctioning fees to get a world ranking. Hooper vs Quinlan , Hogan vs Weetch and Kambosos Jr vs Ogilive / Qamil Balla have been the rare exceptions in recent times.

Well obviously speaking from a financial point of view Young Tim facing Bad jab Zab will be a spinner but pretty pointless facing a guy your old man stretched in two going on for on 20 years ago does fark all for your prestige , saying that its always a bad idea to look past your next opponent it could be a master stroke of genius should he lose to Camo .

Zzzzzzzzzzzab has won his last two & fights a 23 and 1 guy next up.

If he goes alright in that one, can't see a reason not to bring him out here & match him up with Junior Tszyu.

Tszyu needs to get some experience against international opposition. I like who he's got lined up as Australian opponents, but if he's going to beat fighters with international experience he needs some himself. Getting a former world champ or two on his resume is all part of the development process.

I doubt Junior Tszyu gets Zabba Dabba Doo out of there any quicker than dad did.

If Tszyu wins the Australian title against Joel Camilleri, I'm hoping his next fight is a defence of it against Dwight "Wake in Fright" Ritchie.

    Maybe Zab after that.

    * Fox Sports 503 Sun from 10 .00 AEST.
    Korbov vs Allem MW
WBA no 1 140 lbs Barrios vs Velasco
    Hurd vs Williams
Fox Boxing June * Subject to change
    * Joshua vs Ruiz PPV June 2 .
