    Tyson is convinced.

Wlad and Vitali are much better than say the Tucker who won round one and hurt his hand and Smith, both of whom lasted the distance with a prime Tyson.

I watched ESPN's 42-1 doc on Douglas vs Tyson. Buster went to town on Tyson. Anyone who throws hard accurate punches from range has Tyson right where they want him. Then Tyson clinched, buster simply pushed him off.

I still have not seen enough on AJ, but I do think he's the type that would give Tyson trouble.

Well I guess neither feels they would have beaten the other, cause AJ definitely said that Tyson would have destroyed him.

Tyson had a better defense than AJ does and Tucker landed far more than Smith who constantly clinched, he could hardly land a punch on Mike until the last round and he hurt Mike because he was a huge puncher, if Smith landed flush on AJ there`s a good chance he would have stopped him, Mike took punches off Ruddock that would have floored Joshua.

He's just being modest. Very modest.

Seems a very reasonable statement to me. Same with Wlad and Vitaly.

Whatever was left of the real Mike Tyson died in the late 90's. The neutered nice guy you see doing these sissy interviews on YouTube making bizarre inconsistent statements is his imposter stunt double.

To be honest, Mike has always sold himself short. Even in his prime he gave previous champs their just due and was usually brutally honest about matchups between himself and others. It's sometimes hard to tell when he's simply being respectful and when he truly believes he'd have struggled and/or lost.

Mike also said at one point Ronda Rousey would have beaten him in a fight.

Mike's a very humble guy now moreso than when he was fighting plus all the weed he smokes and meds he takes he's incredibly mellow and self depreciating.

Very good very big fighters are going to be tough. MT should be unsure of beating the very best HW in the world at any given time. It doesn't mean anything really.

Mike might be unsure and he's also being modest and respectful. Joshua's pretty good, a big strong champ and might pose prime Iron Mike some problems for a few rounds, but personally, it would be to hard to pick against prime Mike vs the best AJ we've seen so far.
41 year old Wlad coming back from a layoff was within a good punch or two of stopping AJ and veteran outsized Povetkin gave him enough of it too.

Seems pretty sensible of him. Joshua is a talented big man with excellent power and good boxing technique.

I get why it would seem jarring in a forum like this though, where even 180-200lb men dominate the best of the super-heavyweights* on a fairly regular basis.

He said that while he was sitting next to that clown and when she came into the interview she didn`t even shake his hand.
