    BINGO!

Leo Houck beat the following world champions:
    Al McCoy
    Johnny Wilson
    George Chip x 4
    Jack Dillon
    Billy Papke
    Battling Levinsky x 3
    Harry Lewis x 3
    Frank Klaus
    Jack Britton

That's a total of 16 wins against 9 different champions... so yes, he's indeed our man. Well done!

So you're counting unofficial newspaper decisions?

Officially, how many wins did he have over champs? Three or four?

David Tua knocked out five different champions ... officially.

Isn't that the way we always do it, with questions like this?

For example, we talk about Greb's incredible 45-0 run in 1919 all the time. I've never heard anyone say, that he was only 9-0 that year!

Haha these days 9-0 in one year would be considered exceptional.

They do? Really?? I can't recall ever seeing a single case, where someone has said, that we should disregard Greb's 45-0 for 1919!

I'm not saying, it has never happened - just that I don't remember. And if it has, it's certainly not something you see very often (I would think).
