Perception is everything, especially in sports! If you can have your product look good and convince peoples minds that it’s quality product then it’s a success! I think Gervonta is not developing the way he should or should have! In order for you to get better you have to fight better opposition gradually and this dude is going to start fighting once a year! Either he is a fraud or is being hurt dramatically my his handlers!
His inactivity is slowing down his development and is going to stop him reaching the very top. He needs a new promoter that can get him out 3-4 times a year
He's still young. But could be fighting more. At least 4 times a year. 2 top guys a year and 2 stay busy fights if other meaningful fights don't materialize.
He's not a fraud, but he needs to start fighting more of the best available opposition. If a Loma fight is being pushed off, then match Tank, with guys that will make him up his game at least, instead of him facing scrub after scrub.

They got him a belt and seem interested in getting him with guys just credible enough for casuals and at the same time guys he should KO Basically lets me know he is in the upper echelon of his weight class but tells me nothing in the pound for pound sense of whether he can beat actual elite fighter, climb weights successfully etc
When he moves up in weight he is gunna get smoked, you can’t keep beating up on little guys and fighting guys nowhere near you’re level, it will always catch up to you
