Whyte isn't that good. He stands a good chance of knocking out this damaged goods version of Fury. Against Wilder it would be an exciting fight and again he would have a punchers chance however there is no way he would be able to take the right hand from hell. Let us not forget feather fisted Parker was seconds away from finishing Whyte off and all this talk of challenging titlist would be buried in the sea long ago.
I know Wilder has his limitations, notably his footwork but so does Whyte. His balance at times is questionable. Unlike Whyte, Wilder has some amateur pedigree winning a Golden Gloves and a bronze medal in the Olympics. I’d predict that if Wilder couldn't knockout Whyte, he would prevail on points. As for beating Fury, I just think back to the fight with Helenius who fought on the backfoot and wouldn’t really engage with Whyte. Whyte really struggled to cut the ring off and put him away. That’s because Helenius wouldn't open up and trade with him. There was no opportunities to time him. L He deservedly won the fight but it was stylistically horrible for him. Fury is levels up from Helenius...he’s also big tall lad who fights on the backfoot but he’d pepper Whyte with the jab from an orthodox or southpaw stance and clinch all night. I say this as an admirer of Whyte. He’s always got that big shot with the left hand but if you look at how he put down Browne, Parker and Chisora, they were all throwing a shot at him and he timed his own beautifully. I just can’t see Fury throwing hooks with Whyte.
All I am saying is that it is obvious that you have sexual feelings for Wilder, but no matter how much you carry his jackstrap for him, he is never even going to know much less care. He sort-of likes women, as evidenced by the fact that he beat up a hooker in Vegas.
