J Rock great fighter. I liked how he fought and did everything well. He acted just like a champion last night . Hurd took the defeat like a man and did not cry like little ***** jermell did lol . " I don't like losing that's why I don't like playing video games "
Williams, class act. Wow! With all that he has gone through in his short life. What a struggle but now he is the champ and that can never be taken away from him. He is so right, too, when he said that boxing can be cruel. A guy gets one loss and people want to say he is done. Hell, look at guys like SRR. Many great fighters had several losses. It's what you do after those losses. Boy, I felt for the guy when he was fighting back tears and complimenting Mrs. Hurd. Very moving.
J-Rock and his trainer are big advocates for 365 testing and VADA too. Doing all of this clean. Props to them.
I like breadman, he writes a column on another boxing forum, or scene if you prefer, the name is blocked here. It's excellent reading, he's a real student of the sport and has an interesting take on tactics and the sport in general. Well worth a read and I'm delighted that he's enjoyed such success.
Yeah, but the Charlos are being ducked. Let's admit it. They are viewed as spoilers. They are both dangerous and are therefore avoided. We don't know how good they are because they haven't really gotten their opportunities. I'm not saying they are unbeatable. In fact, I would say they both may have lost in their last fight but they were close fights and, in fact, with Jermell being the champion I thought he actually squeaked it out over Harrison but he'll get his shot again soon to set the record straight, one way or the other. Both Charlos are charismatic, good-looking guys who deserve to be in the mix.
Mell isn't as big as Mall or as powerful. He's looked fairly ordinary outside of his KO's. I doubt Williams would need a gift to whoop a shopworn Austin Trout.
