I don't mind the showboating, part of his job as a fighter is to entertain, love him or hate him he draws attention and that can only benefit him. I don't think he is fast though, his hand speed wasn't impressive at all. Though he does have a huge reach so his fists have to travel further but I wouldn't call him quick or even close to quick. I don't follow MMA that much, just watch the odd card now and again, hopefully he learns quickly as you suggest because at the moment I don't think he'll go far.
Oh sorry... Debatable victory SD victory a blown up Featherweight-Lightweight in Fernando Gonzalez MIGHT just barely qualify as a top 50ish win.
More Naseem than anything but what's noticeable about these guys is just there lack of power with the gloves on,Conor McGregor showed us that and to suggest that these guys can win against boxers who have honed their talent on speed ball, heavy bag and amateurs is a bit of a p*** take lol
And that's why he avoided top class competition for years. Lima is a stud too. He was doomed as soon as this fight was announced.
Dropped by a hard low kick and polished off by a reactive uppercut that Lima threw at he tried to pop back to his feet. Was out when he hit the ground but a few hammerfists were landed for good measure. Well earned. This guy taunted and mocked overmatched competition for years. Nice to see this clown put in his place by a real world class fighter. Now that the charade is up Coker should match him up with Raymond Daniels a guy with a similar style.
That made my night watching it happen. I had a feeling Lima would put that showboating ***** to sleep
There wasn't a doubt in my mind. Lima is a legit top 10 Welterweight. I think he's going to win this tournament. Rory used everything he had left to take the belt from him but he looked finished against Fitch. If he gets past Gracie I don't think he'll be able to deal with Lima this time.
You think the ***** hype job Page is done now? I don’t think his unwarranted ego with recover from that.
