Not sure why Thurman has taken this fight. If he wins he won’t get any credit. If he loses (which I think he will) well..

 

When Pac first "retired," he said that he felt lonely and missed boxing — and all the lights and attention and fans that comes with a big fight. We know this is true because when does Pac ever not come forward and press the action? Boxing made him and above all, I think fighting is what makes him the happiest. Or at least that's where he feels he belongs. Look at 8/10 Mexican fighters — you can tell that they LOVE fighting. Pac is cut from the same cloth. A guy like Floyd needs the attention, but doesn't love to fight.

Of course, money is a motivating factor as well, but I highly doubt the dude is broke.
