You've got to be kidding me. What more does Dillian Whyte have to do? Now he's going to get beat at the final hurdle because the WBC are trying to protect Deonkey from Whyte at all costs. They'd rather fight Fury because although Fury will school Deonkey the second time round, they know he's vulnerable and they have a chance at the KO. Against Whyte he'll just be a real pain for Deonkey, always in his face. They don't want a war like that. On the other hand though, Deonkey is making a mistake either way. Fury won't get caught again, the weight is coming off and he looks better than ever at the moment. I even think Fury might knock Wilder out in the rematch. Unfortunately...none of this probably matters because you can never trust what comes out of Tyson Fury's mouth. And even if he does want the fight, the negotiations between the two sides will be toxic as hell.
This is all of a sudden starting to look legit af, come on Mauricio Sulaiman just make it for the diamond belt, you already like making new belts for practically every fight these days.
Fury wants the diamond belt instead. Diamond, interim, lineal! Somebody hit somebody for ****`s sake!
Anyone know the advantage of holding the diamond rather than interim? Is there a better split/guarantee for a title shot?
Tysons wife is going mad. They've had four new floors put down in the kitchen in the last month alone. All the workers swear blind Tyson said something about linoleum.
As I understand it the diamond belt holder can literary demand a fight with the champion. Where the interim title is more vague...
