Now BJS is fighting at 168lbs. Who would win this? The Froch against Bute or the BJS against Lemieux?

On topic please, no Calzaghe talk

Is Froch not too big and too strong?

Based on opponents faced, I have to side with Froth

The single biggest weakness of BJS is a lack of dedication, an apparent unwillingness to push himself to the limits of his physical capabilities. His pure boxing talent has papered over those cracks in the past but we can't forget a limited fighter like Eubank came on strong in their fight and Ryder pushed him close through pressure and physicality.

BJS had upped his game since those fights, but enough to withstand the physicality Froch would bring? And at 168? I don't think so. I think Froch would circumnavigate the gulf in boxing ability and wear him down; take him to places where his lack of dedication would once again be exposed. This time in the ring and not the boxing gym.

Yes he's rededicated himself to the sport but a leopard can't entirely change its spots...

Lem is a devastating puncher and couldn`t touch Saunders.

Froch, everyone forgets about his jab for starters.

Lemieux was a middleweight. Froch a genuine Super Middle would have far too much for BJS I’d imagine but that’s subject to change. Let’s see how Billy does with a live opponent at the weight first and make a judgement. Froch mixed it with the very best, something Saunders has yet to do at any weight.

Maybe but Saunders P4P is much better than Froch was, his jab is far better and he throws it more, I don`t think reach advantage will be a factor here and whatever happens Saunders will at least outjab the limited Froch who was completely outboxed by Ward and was losing to Taylor before catching him.

Froch never used his jab enough and Saunders has a constant jab, he`d score a lot of points with his lead, Froch had a very leaky defense.

Froch wasn't losing by much against Taylor and Ward is possibly the best super middleweight ever. No shame in not winning that.

Saunders beat Lee, Akavov and Eubank on very close decisions. Froch battered some top level super middles. Bigger, stronger, better opposition, harder, rock solid chin, unreal engine. Froch wins easy.

Although BJS is clearly a better technical boxer I things Froch that fought Bute would smash BJS Saunders to bits maybe not as quick as Bute.

I'd even back Kessler to beat Saunders.
