You’re bragging about being old and not knowing boxing despite supposedly watching it for 40 years? Some ego.
Who knows. Canelo has never seemed to be troubled by height. In fact, it seems the taller the fighter is the easier work for him. As far as reach, I can see that being an issue for Canelo, IF his opponent knows how to use their reach advantage. Erislandy Lara has unusually long reach, and yes he did cause Canelo some issues early on, but this is a fighter that has mastered fighting from the outside. Did Kelly Pavlik master fighting from the outside? How about Pavlik's disadvantage of having to punch down? With Canelo's body being a far target, Pavlik would be head hunting all fight and Canelo has some of the best head movement in the game. Canelo would also have a direct target to Pavlik's body. A MW Pavlik was rather slim to the body. Being short is not always a disadvantage in boxing. Many slick boxers duck or bend over below the waist to get out of target range. This is a hard fight to predict based on each fighters attributes. I'll have to say 50/50.
Sergio had unparalleled footwork indeed. And perhaps an inch or two in height over canelo. But canelo is very elusive too and is much heavier and physically stronger than Sergio.
Fail, Oscar was not a true neither was Tito, DLH got slapped around by Strum before facing Hopkins anyone with a Brian knew dlh was easily going to get beat up by Hopkins, The tito fight is a good win but the ggg win was even better as ggg was the "monster " who everyone in the world was afraid of, Tito never did anything great in middle weight aside from beating the lesser skilled Joppy
Disagree on that big time! But we agree to disagree! Taylor was alot more dangerous of a fight then say a Austin Trout,, Miranda at the time was a dangerous fight for anyone due to his punching power!
