Most of Wilders KOs are caused by that.Mike Tyson often the same,in the heat of battle it's rare for the refs to pick up on that imo.
Man you can't debate without getting emotional or someone having a different of opinion I love it lol
Truth! Rules are rules, and anybody trying to make exceptions or legitimizing any particular rules, would then have to do the same and accept any other rules being broken in boxing to be legit too. Just because fouls happens very often, or just because incompetent referees (even if there are many of them) fail to call out on the breakages of said rules, does not make it appropriate for those fouls to be taking place. Thus, those fouls need to be called upon by any objective viewer of the sport. As long as the rules remain, we need to stick by them and respect them
On topic, it was a clinic and I had it a shut-out for Fury, whilst only giving Wilder the 12th round for the only legitimate / legal knockdown he scored of the fight. Even then, it was a 10-9 round for Wilder only, because Fury returned and won that round, outside of that knockdown. Mismatch was clear as day to see! This is what a Fury below 100% was able to do. Fury at 100% without jobbing or messing around, would make Wilder look like an even bigger clown and would actually even stop him.
Usyk scored the fight 115-111 for Fury and his manager Alex Krassyuk had it 116-110. I had the same scoring, 116-110. Fury, who was FAR from his best shape, schooled him badly. He even clearly won the last 2 minutes of the last round after being knocked down hard. Wilder's power gives him a chance against anybody, but his skillset is awful. I think that pro novices like Dychko and Jalolov would outbox him clearly for the 5-6 rounds, although eventually the will get caught.
Always thought Joshua would beat him like he did Charles Martin.Just basic boxing, keeping ones shape and being able to land when he falls over should get the job done?that said it's getting in range that's not easy.
Wilder relies on speed and length , take one of these away he's got problems. His power is also there but a focused individual can potentially withstand them. it's why I think Breazeales going to cause him problems ,he won't have significant length therefore will his power be so easy to land and cause disruptive moments. Breazeales skill set is much better overall , and is far harder to hurt then Fury and will attack.him . I'm almost tempted to take Breazeale after seeing him today. I don't believe this goes 12 , and if it does can't see even the refs getting away against a dominant Breazeale . Fury like a few stayed to inactive, Breazeales not going to let up. 1. Lucked out against Ortiz 2. Lucked out against Fury 3 ??????? out against Breazeale. Wilder has a puncher chance , sure but his best top K.O is one proven top guy..Ortiz who's not proven on resume. I'm not sold on a same size guy in Top ten that shouldn't be able to get Wilder out of there. Breazeales is highly underrated on a danger level. Novices able to out box him is a concern and Breazeales a big puncher.
He got out boxed Wilder, I actually think Fury should've gone for the tko later, he was just content to box though
I agree. I think Joshua would KO Wilder inside two rounds. The difference in skills between Joshua and Wilder is immense.
Cant help you im afraid, I aint naughty and haven't been for 2 weeks. I'll maybe naughty Friday night though fingers crossed, only for the night though !
