Tricky because his resume is so thin and Breazeale exposed some big flaws.

He handled Kassi better than Arreola did and even in losing to Breazeale he showed good power and offence. I'd probably rank him behind Ortiz, Breazeale, Stiverne from the 1st fight, maybe behind Duhaupas, but above Molina, Arreola, Szpilka and Washington. So middle of the pack, not the best or the worst possible opponent.

Izu is similar to Wilder in that he is pretty fast with a good punch. The fact that Breazeale took him out plays into my thought that Breazeale does have a punchers chance against Wilder. However, I remember that fight and Izu obliged Breazeale into a firefight which was not a good strategy for him. I think he could have outboxed Breazeale to a decision victory but decided to trade to his own detriment. Wilder might do the same thing and end up on the canvas as well as I still don't think Wilder has a good chin.

    Near the bottom.

It would be quite a regression for Wilder.

    Izu is a question mark.

Hes a better fighter then Parker ,but could he outbox Ortiz ? Style wise .

Hes real threat to fury but fury probably avoids his big shot but ,if you know Izu you know he disguises that huge over hand right to the side low and whips it around,Fury is susceptible to this punch ,hes been floored by it once and to lesser puncher. from low and under, its the shot he really hurt Breazeale with prior to the body shot that really got him hurt rnd 4.

Izu could cause real problems fro any of wilders guys. He also fought an overweight Breazeale NOT the guy stepping in tomorrow.

Izu cant really be ranked over Fury or Ortiz now ,he actually has a better shot at wilder though style wise then those guys from here on in .

Izu would hurt Szpilka and stiverne . top wilder wins.

I would rank Izu 4th best opponent in ranking but not chance. I put him one over Ortiz on that one vs wilder.

    1. Fury
    2. Breazeale
    3. Izu
    4. Ortiz
    5. Stiverne

This ranking is most likely to get a win not who's better , Breazeale is two bc hes most likely to land sooner and brings the second strongest punch. Izu actually hits harder then Breazeale and is close to wilder in that area.....

Something to think about for those claiming Wilder is going to win easy.

It is a shame that Izu has become very inactive after losing to Breazeale. Judging from his Instagram he has been doing some commentary work for Polish television and most recently has been sparring with Usyk in the Ukraine. Sadly, don't see any indication of any fights coming up. He should sign with Matchroom or Top Rank if he still has ambitions of progressing.
