You think Danny Jacobs boxing skills are basic? Clearly you have no understanding and no respect for what it takes to even make it as a full-time pro fighter, let alone to be one of the 5 to 10 best MW’s in the entire world. He is in the top 1 percentile of all professional boxers and you consider that average and basic? That’s a giant kick to the nuts of the thousands and thousands of really talented fighters who will never come close to achieving the level of success, money and fame that Danny has achieved. I cannot even fathom someone thinking Danny is a C-level fighter. I simply can’t wrap my brain around the absolute ignorance of that notion. The dude is among the best in the world and you call him an ok fighter. Pathetic.
Hes a top 5 middleweight. To be competitive with GGG and Canelo means hes a really good fighter. Id like to see him and the rest of them agains BJS and Charlo.
He has an excellent jab, he's very good moving forward behind the jab, he's very good from distance, he's got a big right hand, good left hook, solid fundamentals, he can fight from both sides, he uses his legs well, he's fast, he's strong. Look man, you're entitled to say whatever you want, I was just stunned that someone could actually call Danny C-level. Seems insane to me. By definition, average or C-level means he's in the middle of the pack at Middleweight. That would mean there's hundreds of MW's that are better than him. I don't know how anyone could insinuate that. I'm guessing you're just trying to stir up reactions.
Actually Jacobs was an elite fighter who was over looked because of his loss to pirog! He beat GGG IN MY opinion. Dude was p4p top 10. Haymon didn’t want to feed him the charlos and that hurt his career which is why he went to dazn
I'll admit, I knew that comment was going to bite me in the behind. However I stand by the other points that I mentioned. Jacobs is so overrated.
Ok I'd still disagree and yea I did zone in on just that one bit because it was really something that caught my eye. I dont think hes overrated or underrated. Hes regarded as a top level 160 pounder. Which he is.
No his a top fighter just has lost vs elite fighters in Canelo and Golovkin. Some will argue he beat GGG as well. C level fighters do not take GGG to a razor close fight.
