Well I tell you what when Breazeale did not have many followers in 2017. , I gave him THE blue print to get by Izu. I KNOW he followed it bc he talked to me and did the following the next few days on his page. In fact that entire fight played out how I said it would minus being off a round or two before the stoppage.,including the knockdowns by both....just ask or go back to my older posts. as far as im concerned I potentially SAVED him in that fight bc the punch that was heading his way was met by how I told him it would happen and how to walk Izu into an uppercut . only thing was he was 263 pounds and well....just no. lol The above is a semi blue print one im sure Hunter is doing anyway or should be looking at. Breazeale has said 100% what I wanted him to all week and seems to have a solid plan to get that win. Would have liked to see him at250 but really know one knows what a fighter weighs, he may drop 4 pounds tomorrow? This will increase speed, even 4 pounds for someone like him who is not fast. Wilder is very dangerous at this weight ,he will be harder then the one fury fought,he was actually tricked into taking the fight and wasn't worried . He know has a real motivated guy with a punch and takes away Wilders strengths with is reach. The above will see Breazeale winning, its not really complicate this one for what Breazeale has to do ,its really going to be up to him how wilder approaches the fight ,whoever lands first hard shot may win, most durable ,most confident, or most motivated....... ? ive seen little things today that suggest Breazeales going to win further but this is really a headache fight to predict just like the Fury one was until I saw holes and said fury wouldn't lose close to fight time. I can only make one and mines breazeale 6th round. multiple ones are Wilder 9th /10th round K.O if he wins..If Breazeale can get out of first4 rounds and avoid these ones I got him for the W. .we'll see?
It's Deontay Wilder. Avoid the right and punish his mistakes - he makes loads. He also shows signs of slowing down, and **** poor inside game, get in on him and fold that skinny frame. Imagine if Fury had a bit of pop, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. Breazeale has a better chance than most are giving him, just don't go in there starting slow.
Breazeale is a pressure fighter and that is what he needs to do . Wilder cannot deal with pressure it grates on him . Stay focused , spoil his initiations in contacts , grab , clinch , shove and make it messy . Clip Wilder with both lefts and rights , and make him feel number 2 in the fight . I would not be surprised to see Breazeale win here . Wilder's past couple of fights have shown he does not handle pressure and the level needed and Breazeale is gonna cause him problems at the least I reckon .
I thought Breazeale was better against Izu than Negron because he threw a lot more punches, if he can drag wilder into a fight where they are both throwing alot of punches at a pretty close range maybe Wilders power is not great up close and he tires out for a mid round attack by Breazeale on a tired Wilder. but probably not, his defence is pretty bad.
1 - Press and keep Wilder on the back foot. Wilder is less effective on the back foot, he finds it harder to mount any offence apart from the odd counter when pushed back, so keep him backing up. 2 - Jab and more importantly feint. Washington showed simply pumping out the jab can befuddle Wilder, reason for that is he's a reactive fighter, he has no guard so is always alert for any possible attack and will react to it. Wasthington became predictable with the jab though as so was countered by a right hand, Breazeale needs to mix in feints to keep Wilder guessing, that will also help back Wilder up. 3 - Set the pace and be physical. Wilder tired late vs Fury his stamina isn't infallible. A tired Wilder will lead to opportunities late in the fight. When in close be physical, Breazeale is the bigger heavier man, use that size like Fury did, that's why we saw Wilder tire for the first time ever in a fight. Lean that 255lbs all over Wilder when given the chance. 4 - Don't over reach. Breazeale often puts too much weight on his front foot and over balances when throwing the right hand, he's very open to being countered when doing this. He can't give Wilder opportunities to counter him here. 5 - Exchange. When Wilder throws, throw back. One this will be his best opportunity to land something meaningful but secondly it will make Wilder less aggressive as he knows if he throws something will come back which will help with point 1 and allow Breazeale to keep backing him up. 6 - Go for the KO, no chance he wins a decision. He could drop Wilder in every other round and he'll still only get a draw, so a KO is a must.
Yeah Hunter is his trainer for this fight. Will be interesting to see how he looks with Hunter and if Breazeale has learned anything. He does so many things wrong, like when he throws the right to the body his left hand is so low, he's begging to be countered with a right. He sometimes gets switched around and finds himself turning southpaw and is hopelessly wide open in that stance.
- Keep Wilder on the backfoot with his jab and constant forward movement - Don't lunge, keep things tight - Punish Wilder to the body when in close and physically manhandle him - Try to catch Wilder with his right hand after pushing him off with his left - Avoid using that sloppy, slow-as-molasses left hook that never lands on anyone - Keep his guard up when not punching!
That point is where I think Breazeale comes undone. People rag on Wilder for windmilling and looking like a raw novice, but Breazeale does it too. He does some horrible things in the ring and often over balances and is left with no guard, out of position and even in the wrong stance. I suspect he does that too often and Wilder lands something huge to finish him late in the fight.
Negron was 6'6 with an 83 inch reach. He was able to use the long range jab a lot and switch to southpaw on /off it caused Breazeale punch count to go down. Along with really good body shots . Wilder does none of this. Breazeale did better against Negron. wasn't hurt or knocked down. Did things defensively by shutting down Negrons lead hand by touching it / pushing it back ( Foreman tactics) He almost knocked Negron out in round 4. Negron wasn't an offensive aggressiveness puncher like Izu who really was damaging Breazeale but Breazeales came in very heavy. But in no way did he do better against Izu. For this fight coming up he will be most active as well , his last fight was his longest layoff, this should tell you Breazeales going to be real sharp.
Arsenbek Mahkomudov is taking over tonight after whispering death threats for everyone to make way and step aside. He's not even allowing a cut man , he's doing it all and has his English translation book to read off of in between rounds .
Breazeale is gunna basically has to minimise the amount of punishment he takes in the first half of the round. He needs to get Wilder off his game plan, taunt him, use his strength to tie him up. Ultimately for Breazeale has a 1/10 chance of winning unless he shows something he has never showed before. We know he tough and he can bang but he so slow it’s ridiculous.
