    Fair enough, but there's a difference between adversity caused by circumstance and adversity caused by one's opponent.

    While Carmona is capable and tricky, he didn't have the actual physical ability to press an advantage gained through an opponent's injury. E-Rod does, and even if Inoue doesn't sustain an injury, his opponent has a combination of tools that Naoya hasn't seen Taguchi (and I think E-Rod might be a bit more talented, to be honest). If Inoue isn't locked in, that could be his undoing. Even if he is locked in, I suspect that this could still be a lot more challenging than many of his recent fights.

    Inoue can do all those things you mentioned, and that's why I'm not calling the upset. But I don't think E-Rod's an easy out at all...and I would be really, really surprised if he goes into the night as quickly or easily as Inoue's last two opponents.
