He basically needs to fight on back foot and make Wilder come to him. Washington done a good job, but got too cocky coming forward.

He is a big big puncher for sure. I'll sum him up tighter when we see him against Joshua - what a matchup that shapes up to be now. Whoever emerges out of the Wilder/Joshua/Fury triangle has the chance to end up pretty highly rated. If Wilder took out Fury next time and beat Joshua impressively his name will certainly climb.

Wilder put the whole division on notice with that KO of Breazeale inside two minutes.

Joshua may beat Wilder but unless he has Mayweather defense ( which he doesn't), he will go down. Fury (who I think is a better boxer defensively than Joshua) went down...every man Wilder has fought has gone down...Joshua will do the same.

The BIG question is can Joshua get up and win from hitting the canvas, he may, he proved it with Klitchko but Wilder is a harder puncher than Vlad.

I think Joshua and co (Hearn and DAZN) are aware of Deontay's capabilities, that's why DAZN offered Wilder 100 million to fight Joshua twice. Joshua knows the risks of fighting Wilder, not much as changed at all.

Wilders right hand is amazing but I don't think anyone had Breazeale winning that fight. We all know Breazeale was getting knocked out, it was just a matter of picking the round. I'm not trying to discredit the champs victory but we have to look at the whole thing.

The real problem with anyone who fights Wilder is he's dangerous for the entire fight. Look no further than his match with Ortiz where he carried his power into the championship rounds and knocked him out in the 11th.

His chin is actually not too bad. While he can get staggered and have issues with his balance, he can still take a good punch without going down. He might actually be more dangerous when he's hurt as you can guarantee he'll start throwing looping shots to get the opposition off of him.

The real problem in the Joshua fight is AJ's stamina issues in the later rounds. He can train for Wilder's right hand for an entire training camp, but the moment Joshua starts to slow down, I can see his left hand staying down and Wilder eventually landing on him.

AJ needs to knock him out early to ensure that kind of situation doesn't occur. Can't see the fight going the full distance since Joshua doesn't carry the defense someone like Fury does.
