Said Saunders in his post fight interview: "I want the big fights, the big names. The big domestic fights, unification fights. I moved up from middleweight as none of them would fight me." https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/boxing/48324370 Wow ... never in a million years did I expect Billy Joe to mention that none of the top Middleweights want to fight him!
I just feel with Billy that year or more out was wasted time. He was prime before and would have given canelo or ggg a real fight. His style relys on reflexes etc and whilst he looked good tonight, his opponent allowed him to. Was also quite worrying he caught rocked. Doesn't look as fluid at SM, looks his age and the Fighters at SM hit much harder. I mean calling out Smith? Smith is too big for him. I think that fight is all wrong for him... he's one loss away from a downward spiral to the end of his career and another wastes talent.
needs to go back to MW if he can. He needs to be as light as possible not carrying extra bulk. His career will end like David Hayes. Guy who relied on althleticism gets inactive, older, slows down and moves up in weight. Extra weight, age and inactivity is the kiss of death for a style like bjs
Can he make the weight now without the special Ingle sauce? That’s a big question. Ben has his hands full.
Billy Goat Saunders should get it on with someone like Jacobs and then that would show us all where Billy Goat lies. Personally Jacobs beats him hands down. Love to see this fight.
I know they were only stay busy fights to get a few rounds in but I always think it's very concerning that Saunders has actually fought at 173 and 178. That should just not be happening full stop.
Just watched it this morning. Imagine if Foster carried power - excellent shot selection, I was really impressed.
I thought that Eubank Jr had accepted that he had no business at SMW and he needed to get back to MW?
Not impressed There's level to this promoting business F w a n k seems stuck in yesteryear The good old wbo least resistance fellas least resistance
