For me I’ll still go Joshua but I must admit I can’t say it with 100% certainty. Joshua is better than anyone Wilder has faced and a lot more powerful, we’ve seen him on the canvas before we’ve seen him in trouble before so would be interesting to see if he can handle AJ’s power.

The same applies to AJ, he’s been rocked before, he’s been on the canvas before and that’s without Wilder’s power.

I just think Joshua is better than an Ortiz who was arguably winning and had Wilder in trouble and could finish the job. He has the power Fury lacked to finish the job and I don’t think he’s as “chinny” as some of you make out.

Either way I’d love to see it. It NEEDS to happen NOW.

Agree it needs to happen now. I still wonder though; Wilder feels like Bowe to Joshua's Lewis for me.

I don't think last night changed my mind in any way. If anything, it probably works in microcosm as an overview of Wilder in general: massive power, unorthodox, but still significantly vulnerable. Both are clearly able to seriously hurt the other, so I'll stick with the guy who I think has the better overall game to get there first.

As NoNeck said in another thread, I find it hard to imagine one of those bombs not detonating on Joshua's chin and I don't think he survives. Similar to last night, I see Wilder jumping in with a massive right and AJ won't be able to get out the way.

A few years ago I thought Joshua would win this easily inside 3 rounds. Since then, I've been back & forward. Great fight would be an understatement. This fight can't be anything other than fireworks. It's not happening anytime soon though.

Wilder is too dangerous. I doubt Joshua will fight him or Fury.

Noting changed for me. Joshua is a far better boxer and he also has destructive power. They fight ten times AJ wins 7, maybe 8. Wilder has the power though and always has a chance until the final bell.

I used to think Joshua 100%.
Better fundamentals also with big power.
Now though i’m about 60/40 for Joshua, you simply can’t ignore the Wilder power, you’re always in danger.

it is 50/50 and will be sad if it doesn't happen now

all it takes is for some journeyman to get a 'fluke' win over Wilder or Joshua to totally ruin it

AJ still of course . Beating a fighter AJ beat years ago whilst being ill for most of the camp proves nothing.

People were in awe of Wilder after the Szpilka fight too....calm down everyone, this was Dom Breazeale.

Nothing's changed for me and AJ still destroys him 10/10

Team AJ will wait until Wilder starts slowing down in 12-18 months then they will push for the fight.

Joshua doesn't have the defense not to get caught by Wilder, and Wilder isn't going to let him off the hook like old man Wlad.

AJ wins by boring UD, he will stink the place out like he did against Parker but it will be effective

Doesn't change my mind I think both can beat each other and if they had multiple fights you would get multiple outcomes.

I've also always said a decent tactic for Wilder is to play possum a little bit. When he thinks he has you rocked he is so wild and wide open to a good straight right.

I have trouble not believing that Wilder’s straight right hand won’t get there first and when he does, especially when he’s weighting 223lb+ It’s lights out for AJ.
