What a fight this should be.

Two top fighters coming in to their prime in a unification.

I want Josh to do it but I think Prograis has just got that extra touch of class about him. Josh let’s himself get hit a bit too much, I think his chin is granite but it doesn’t look well on the scorecards.

    Prograis points.

I'm gonna have to think about this one for a while before I decide. This is an excellent fight, the 2 best guys in the division fighting to be the kingpin. They were both very respectful of each other in the post fight yesterday, it's the epitome of what makes this sport amazing, I'm very impressed by both guys and I'm just so happy it's going down. I just love when an anticipated scrap comes to fruition. For now, I'll just say it's a coin flip for me, as they are both really freakin good.

Excellent fight but Prograis got this. From day one I first saw him I said he was going to dominate his division and I stand by my word. But Taylor won't make it easy.

If he fights like he did last night I think Prograis stops him but I’m sure he’ll come into the fight more cautious knowing this is another step up in level.

Well, it depends. If the fight is in the UK, I would rather favor Taylor.

And the WBSS will make it where there is more money. And that's UK, because Prograis is not a big name in the US. From how I understand it, even in his own state he's not a big draw.

This is exactly what you wanna see, the top 2 in a division facing off. I just edge Prograis, but only just. Both fighters, no matter the result, will continue onwards and upwards afterwards.

People have short memories and forget that Rougarou got hit a lot against Velasco who is nowhere near Ivan B's level and obviously JT's either. Velasco had been dropped x 3 prior to facing Rougarou and 2 of said KDs by fighters whose KO % makes Paulie look like a prime Mike Tyson.

Roberto Angel Mendez KOs 0% - 0 wins via stoppage in 14 fights (0-12-2)

Guillermo De Jesus Paz KOs 1% - 1 win via stoppage in 68 fights (25-39-4 (1KO)

So the argument that JT can be hit also needs to be applied to Rougarou and best believe JT also has the power, speed and skills to hurt him and get him out of there too.

It's a great match up though and both are really talented fighters and likeable guys outside the ring.

That sounds logical but then how do you explain last year’s Super middleweight final where you had two British guys, George Groves and Callum Smith, both with good fan base in the UK going off to fight each othe4 in Saudi Arabia?
