Could any Bantam in history last 2 rounds with Inoue?

That very well could be, but hes still better than anyone Inoue has fought at 118. Time will tell how good Monster is, no need to crown him before he's fought any of the top 5 guys in the division.

In history ? Well, not really from bantamweight, but I think Inoue would find a tough opposition in Khaosai Galaxy.

Maybe to you, I didn't think he looked very good against Maloney. I think Nery, Burnett, Donaire and Tete all beat Rodriquez. He beat 1 top 10 guy by split decision, how does that make him the man?

Not to me. Most people thought he was or thought he had the highest ceiling. I didn't rank him that high, but I thought he was up there. Tete doesn't beat (he looked dreadful against Aloyan) Rodriguez and Nonito and Burnett both get their ears boxed off. Don't twist the narrative—MANY PEOPLE said that Rodriguez was Inoue's toughest test and would take him into deep waters and possibly even win.

Respectfully disagree, my man. I'm not twisting anything, I simply haven't been that impressed by Rodriquez. Nothing more, nothing less. Simply a difference of opinion, I just go by what I see, not what other people think.

As special of a talent as Inoue is there’s plenty of fighters of the past that I think would have lasted, and probably beat him. I really enjoy The Monster but please let’s not go overboard and start overrating him like that.
    Wilfredo Gomez
    Carlos Zarate
    Eder Jofre
    Ruben Olivares
    Orlando Canizales
    Erik Morales
    MAB
    Miguel Lora
    Manny Pacquiao
    Guillermo Rigondeaux

    Just to name a few

Insulting to quite a few others as well....although I do think Inoue is pretty solid!

It was meant as a retaliation thread in a socially acceptable manner, using a criteria that I was told was appropriate by the mods! Oh well

No he wouldn't have. Rodriguez and Tete both would have beat Donaire.

    Of course there is.
Only interesting fight there is Nery. Tete, Burnett, and Oubali have 0 chance. He should fight Nery then move up. He's in his prime, I don't want to see him waste years fighting bums like Burnett or Oubali. His 115 resume is already lacking. Whether it's because they ducked him or not, at the end of the day he doesn't have Choco, Estrada, Sor, on his resume.

I'm sorry seeing Rodriguez fight like a chicken with it's head cut off. Never see Donaire fight like that ever! Donaire would've landed a KO Left hook on Rodriguez imho. Donaire wayy too seasoned.

Tete would beat Donaire I agree with you there.

Nope, would've been a clear 12 round UD for Rodriguez. Did Donaire have a chance to knock him out, just like he has a chance to knock anyone out? Sure, but it would have been pretty much the Magdaleno fight again.
