Finkel punts AJ fight until late 2020 when Wilder will be 35 for the final cash out and retirement check.

To be fair, you can argue from their own points of view that wilder and Joshua have done the right thing as with the numbers flying around, the fight is a lot bigger than it ever was and if it does get locked in then it’s likely gonna be 2 fights. The risk is the fight never happening and/or somebody losing which ruins the value of the fight. Wilder is definitely a lot bigger than he was a year or 2 ago and is getting bigger purses.

There’s gotta be a point where you draw the line and just make it happen.

Why is Wilder fighting Ortiz again? Ortiz is like 52 now.

Well if this is what happens personally I think Wilder will knock Ortiz out quicker in the rematch. He'll take Kownacki out quickly as well. Fury and Joshua should both still be unbeaten then unless they face each other.

If Wilder fights Kownacki I'll be really upset. I think Cownacki is a shithouse, he turned heel imo. C Grade Heavyweight like Ruiz

Ninja Turtles don't have an official age, promoter probably just guesstimated his age

Don't really see the need for an Ortiz rematch. He fought well but was knocked down 3 times.

Wilder wants to fight old men (Ortiz) and slow, fat men (Kownacki).

He'll continue to avoid prime good heavyweights like Joshua and Whyte.

    The fraud continues.

    Still a dangerous fight.

Those saying Wilder isnt that good but then say he fights in mismatched fights need to make up your mind bc if he's not good , then Ortiz will surely win. lol

Ortiz made a lot of mistakes in the first fight but he is boxer/ puncher the question really is can he stop doing predictable set ups and routines ?

An Ortiz rematch is ****. A fight against Kownacki wouldn't be a bad one. There's no foregone conclusion Wilder beats Kownacki, hell TBH he damn near lost to Ortiz. Pretty certain that the pot is big enough that Joshua/Wilder will happen within the next 12 months now. And the winner faces Fury

Um Dillian Whyte isn't a good heavyweight and who is Anthony Joshua fighting? Old Povetkin, old Wilder, fat Andy Ruiz? The heavyweight division is a joke. Still neither Wilder or AJ want to fight anybody who isn't old or a bum.

In any case Adam Kownacki is a step up from Andy Ruiz or Dominic Breazeale. At least Kownacki can bang.

Can't conceive of either guy demanding (or getting) a rematch clause.
