Reminds me of fighters like Ivan Robinson and Terry Norris. Foot wise very fast flashy but at the same time they got hit way too often considering all their physical tools.
What about guys like Ali and Pep? Ali could dance for 15 rounds. He didn't tire or slow down. No one had better lateral movement than Ali. No one else judged distance better than Ali and he did so with his footwork. You're absolutely right about "doing the least for the highest return". But that's what makes Ali special. He didn't have to do less. He could do the most without slowing down. None of it was wasted motion. It would be a waste if it affected his performance negatively. Tbh, I don't really know who you're referring to. I just wanted to lay it out there that moving around the way Ali or Pep is "great footwork" in my view.
For me it's Pep. It was flawless. Lomachenko might be climbing the lost. But I'll know for certain once he retires

That means butter doesn’t it? That doesn’t really sound too complementary to be honest. It just some fatty dairy product chilled into a solid block and put into a fridge until used as a spread on bread. Or am I missing the context on how it’s been used as a nickname here?
