Pacquiao is one fighter i stopped doubting ages ago.But now that he is 40 i am starting to doubt again.Does that warrior heart still has a WAR left and if he does win.I have never seen anything like it.Tough ask though.

Actually I’m asking Thurman to stop running and do what he said first it was get a belt, Spence did that. Then it was wait till he got another strap Thurman did that via Garcia. Then Thurman said said he wanted have a get back year. Like holy **** stop holding up the belt and division if you aren’t gonna try to unify. Same thing with Porter unifications trump mandatories that’s common knowledge. Porter didn’t need to fight Ugas.

One Time hadn't fought in just under 2 years (22 months) and it was his first fight back after serious injury. I've been lead to believe that just 11 months of inactivity seriously diminishes a fighter and can reduce them from a 100% one to a 10% one (or at least it is when it comes to trying to discredit the wins of certain fighters) but weirdly enough 10 months or 12 months of inactivity doesn't impair a fighter at all and if they're out for either of those amounts of time they're still 100%.

But One Time should be back to 100% now after getting a good 12 rounds under his belt against Josesito in his last fight just like Khan was going into the Crawford fight after only having seen 39 seconds more ring time than that in three years (going life and death with and getting dropped heavily by a glorified journeyman with a KO 32%) than One Time has going into this one.

And just like Tyson Fury was going into the Donkey fight after having those 2 exhibition fights against complete tomato cans after being out for 2.5 years where he spent the entire duration of his inactivity abusing the hell out of his body with industrial amounts of coke, alcohol, and junk food and had to shed 140lbs of blubber after ballooning up to over 400lbs not to mention battling chronic depression and suicidal thoughts.

The first of those 2 exhibition 'fights' wasn't even half decent sparring and Fury couldn't even stop the guy he fought in the second one despite them being shot to smithereens and them having been knocked out a few fights earlier by an equally shot non puncher Kevin Johnson lol

was gonna post the same thing, folk with little perspective often bring up tune up fights without knowing what the fighter intended to get out of em.
I'd rather him see him at his best and I'm hoping you're right

If Khan and Fury were at there best against Crawford and Donkey respectively then so must One Time be against Manny and let's not forget that Manny is a senior citizen who is way past his best whereas Crawford and Donkey are smack bang in the midst of their primes. And Josesito is better than Vargas, Lo Greco and the 2 bums Fury fought and Khan was lucky the bell came to his rescue immediate after Mr KO 32% Vargas dropped him heavily because he probably would've KHTFO.

I hope you are right and he is getting back to his best I like Thurman, but I don’t think he will get back to the level he was, also I hope Pac-Man wins regardless

Thurman is going to be a better than he was in the Lopez fight so i am not expecting Manny to win this fight by any measure. If he does manage to beat Thurman though it would be an incredible achievement. This One Timer is a hard guy to beat , even harder for a 40 year old whose half his size.

I don't think, it will be good but not amazing just because Thurman looked terrible in his last fight and Pacquiao still has plenty of gas, so I wouldn't be surprised if he stops Thurman

    It wouldn't ?

Keith had just turned six when Manny turned pro.

It was a few days over four years ago that 26 year old Thurman stated that 36 year old Pac was no longer a factor at the top end of the welter weight division.

So if Pac were to beat Thurman four years later, I think it would be something of a deal.

Beating the third ranked welterwt in the world at nearly 41, would be notable.

That said, Thurman would have to be favoured in this bout.
