Even though this has been done before, after seeing Wilder KO Brezzy in 1 round, who you got? Could be a chance Wilder KO's Ali in the first round too.
Tough fight to call, Clay would have to be at his absolute best and focused to win, which we've all seen him do before. Its just so hard to imagine him pulling that rope a Dope sh!t he tried with Foreman... Wilders punchers are completely different than Foreman's I have been told by educated people on this forum that Tyson Fury is some type of masterful boxer...true he did outbox Wilder, but Wilder still connected on him and still nearly decapitated him and sent him running to ESPN... I imagine at some point Wilder would catch Clay too. In any event, it would be a great fight. May be the greatest HW fight in history even
Ali would slaughter Wilder. He would humiliate him, worse even than Fury. Wilder would be destroyed mentally during and after the fight. People would drive to the local pizza joint to point and say "see that delivery guy over there, he was once the WBC champion.'
Ali would have to be very careful here , he's not the hard guy to hit history has fooled you into believing. For Wilders faults that doesn't erase others , one thing interesting about this fight is Ali has never fought anyone with speed and power like Wilder so that hands down style is a welcome to someone like Wilder, one thing that probably save Ali is Wilder is not a volume puncher but you guys can't go on about Wilder being the world's scariest puncher of all time and then act like it's a joke fight, .... That makes ZERO sense when big puncher s who weren't 6'7 have hurt Ali before.
I think Usyk vs Wilder will give us some incredible insight on this fight I agree, but with a left and I reckon he'd take it. I'm a huge Fury fan https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/favourite-fighters.628764/ But a prime Ali was about 5* the fighter the Fury that faced Wilder was I think he'd fight like he did against Liston. 74 Ali was nowhere near as athletic as he was in 64, Liston had a better and probably quicker jab than Wilder, Ali avoided it fine, Ali for all his fundimental flaws knew how to box, and so did Dundee who'd tell him to circle to the right, this would Nuetralize Wilder's cross and would allow Ali to push Wilder's jab inside causing Wilder to be off balance. He'd also be landed combos virtually at will due his accuracy, speed and Wilder's shitty defence After my breakdown I think it's clear I don't think it's a difficult call at all. But yes Ali would have to be at his best.
Lol who is Clay? I guess you are one of these old guys who constantly disrespect the man by calling him Clay when he changed his named to Muhammad Ali. Also I can tell you are a casual if you think Tyson Fury is a boxing master. Tyson Fury runs and slaps with his punches. Ali isn't as technically skilled as casuals act like he was. But he is still far more skilled than Fury. Ali could be caught with short left hooks. Wilder doesn't throw short any punches. If Ali could beat Foreman then he would beat the far less skilled china chin Wilder easier.
This. Ali had faster hands than Fury, twice the experience Fury had, and would make Wilder pay a lot more for constantly loading up his right hand.
The prime Ali would toy & play with Wilder. I wonder what he would name him for the fight ?? Maybe Daddy Long Legs ?? lol
