Hrgovic believes he beats both Joshua and Wilder right now, and Fury is the toughest fight for him.

Yeah well, Filip needs to calm his ass down. He's letting his ego get a little out of hand. He's got a long way to go before he's ready for a step up like that.

In the Fury fight Cunningham was 210 completely cut (i.e. at least as muscular as many fat heavies). He didn't almost KO Fury, he scored a KD with a wild hayemaker that nailed Fury squared up.
Cunningham is no smaller than David Haye. And there are heavies that started in lower divisions than him.

Corbin has a better chin than the guy wilder stopped in round one. Just saying.

I believe Hrgovic will be the future champion.

If Wlad were less tentative a boxer he'd have earlier + more KO's. But differing styles, tactics and strength-weakness balances lead to these seemingly out of whack results. Didn't Arreola KO Molina quicker than Wilder and AJ too? There goes ur logic. We both know Kownacki gets smashed by Wilder regardless of any quicker disposal of mutual opponents. and in any case arguing the merits of Hrgovic by praising Martin is reaching.

I think not. Hrgovic understands the business side of boxing. He just made his USA debut and wowed a potentially new fan base base. With a KO 1 result, let him talk. I agree with him on Wilder right now.

His confidence has always been good. Is he ready for Joshua? Not yet. On the flip side he’s beaten a good group of up and comers.

Hrgovic sparred well with Wlad, cut and Hurt Haye to the point where he had to pull out of a fight with Fury, and this happened as a very young fighter.

Let's see him beat a Parker, Ortiz, Hunter, Ruiz, hell a Pulev before we start christening him the second coming. And no he can't beat Wilder just yet.

Disagree. He would beat all of the above right now. Don't let 8-0 fool you, he blitzed the WSB of boxing, and was robbed in the Olympics. He has improved a professional since and is getting better.

I'd like to hear Wlad's opinion as Hrgovic sparred with him in preparation for his final match with Joshua.

Look at the below video, we see a hard straight right hand set up by a jab, a left hook to the body, a lead right hand, a jab to the body, and short right hook to the side of the head for the KO. Most of the punches land with a thud. His footspeed is excellent for a man his size. He fights at all ranges, doesn't change his tactics by getting hit ( because he has a good chin ) and has good power. At 6'6" tall with an 82" reach and 242 pounds, his size is perfect.

While a one punch KO is impressive early, I think he showed a lot in less than 30 seconds on that clip.

Filip “El Animal” Hrgovic should be in no rush because he is young. One thing for sure he looks like he has power and size. I was impressed with Hrgovic tonight. But he has no had enough fights to go after to top guys yet. He needs to be fighting at least every 8 weeks right now. It will all come down to his stamina and chin at the end of the day.

Because he has a good chin, and was quickly outclassed and taken out in round one. That is impressive.

Watch it again, The punch variety, and technique of Hrgovic is combined with his foot speed, power and length is very impressive. IMO Hrgovic has a better chin than anyone in the top ten today. Some may wait to see him beat a guy in the top ten who never beat a top ten opponent. I don't think I need to wait to see where he's going because he's better than those guys right now, and this includes Wilder.
