I personally don't mind the way he fights. There are many different styles in mma and they can all be effective/entertaining to watch BUT the problem with MVP was that he fought sub par opposition for WAY to long it was ridiculous. That's why people are loving the brutal finish by Lima.

What fight were you watching? Lima easily won the first frame. MVP then got iced less than a minute Into the second round. Also.... Why are you taking MVC! seriously?

Also. You'd understand the hate if you actually followed Page for the eternity of his career. The amount of hype around him along with his own arrogance didn't match what he was doing in the ring. Showboats who clown and taunt overmatched opponents are usually disliked -Especially when they YEARS without stepping up. Page should have been in a fight like this 4-5 years ago.
If you are going to quote me get it right, I said MVP was winning before the stoppage with most outlets having MVP winning the 1st round, your the only 1 making claims about either "clearly winning" before the stoppage. Why you not use that standard for your boy Askren who took 10 years before stepping to the big league, you will probably give examples like Koreshev and Lima who were fringe top 10 level at best and definitely weren't top 10 level when when he fought them?

Lima controlled the first round by holding page down and KO'd him less than a minute into the 2nd after getting clipped(he clearly wasn't as bothered by the shot at the commentators suggested and tries even show that he was tripped up on Pages foot after the exchange) He reset easily avoided Pages follow up attacks and then proceeded to knock his ass the **** out. Lima KO2. Deal with it son. Rory gave Lima much harder fight.
