AJ to win via TKO between round 9-11

I think Ruiz Jr goes out on his sword knowing that it’s his last chance to become a world champion.

I could also see it being another 12 round UD for AJ especially if he continues with his more cautious recent style.

I fancy Joshua to make a bit of a statement and end it early , the Wilder bandwagon in the States is in full force and I think Joshua wants to remind everyone that he is the number one heavyweight in the world, I see him stopping Ruiz in the second or third round.

AJ in 4 rounds, if Ruiz comes to fight and doesn't run tht is.

People say Ruiz has good combos and fast hands, so? He's shorter, has less reach and absolutely NO power.
I saw him tee off on Brazilian Zumbano Love for 8 rounds and couldn't dent him, AJ took him out in couple rounds.

It never works out like that though mate. Wilder did Breazeale in a round, AJ took 7. Chisora took Takam out 2 rounds quicker than Joshua etc etc

Ruiz won’t run, he’s no knockout artist but he can certainly hurt any heavyweight. He’ll walk on to a big right eventually but he’s no mug.

Fat lads with pumpkin heads usually take a good shot so it might take a few rounds to shift ruiz, I'll say 6 rounds.

Was watching Ruiz on the pads earlier and he looked good, the way they were working they are going from body to head and fast.
He was punching very fast and looked good, I watched it again and thought to myself if he can do that on the night he just might do it.
I certainly would not rule out an upset.

I was just making a comparison of their power. Ruiz has none.
Joshua won't feel his stings and counter the chubby guy with short arms easily.

I quite like Ruiz but I'm afraid he's getting ktfo early on. By round 4.

Joshua struggles a bit with shorter fighters as we saw to a certain extent with Takam and Povetkin.

If I was Ruiz I would try ruffle his feathers from the start, and stick the nut on him
If he can. AJ has had his nose busted in both of those fights, and definitely threw him off course for a bit.

Either way, AJ will probably start to get to grips with him from around the 4th and get him out in the later rounds.

Your mans in trouble if he does fight Wilder then...1 round massive KO to 7 rounds it took AJ.

Styles make fights. Who knocked who out in whatever round means absolutely nothing.

The fat boy is going to surprise alot of people...he will let them hands go and fight. Joshua will get him out of there eventually but he definitely going to take some damage doing so.

I really don’t know whether to stay up and cough up for this event. I know there are ways around it like watching it through @Jurgen ‘s neighbour’s window but I hate faffing around with stuff like that. I love watching the boxing but there’s an air of inevitability about this card, especially the main fight. I really like Ruiz, he’ll have a few successes but Joshua is going to see him off. Coyle vs Algieri is the only slightly interesting fight. Just feel underwhelmed. Typing this out as pretty much answered my own question.
