That's the thing. Lewis probably would start cautiously, but he'd still have a chance to blast him out early, especially considering the vast difference in technical abilities. Sometimes people tend to forget that Lewis was cautious against Golota. Lennox was measured in his approach, saw an early opening, and that was all she wrote - but Lewis didn't come out guns'a'blazin'! He was patient and methodical in his measured approach, and pounced when he saw an opening.

This is probably how it would go, and let's be honest it wouldn't take more than a round for Wilder to make a mistake that Lewis could capatalise on

Wilder can't punch for his size, wtf lol Wilder is like the lightest HW and is the hardest puncher today. Every last one of his opponents has hit the canvas, but according to u, he can't punch for his side? Wilder is only 215. Clearly u don't know what the hell your talking about lol.

Wilder obviously has the power to KO Wlad but I see him having issues with Wlad's grab and hold. Wilder is thin and more than likely Wlad is a lot stronger. We know Wlad's power too.

What I got from Breazeales fight is he showed he can level a good chin fast and hit compact shots at the weight I said he needs to be which is 225 so he's basically there.

A fight with Foreman is always 50/50 ...is really no different from Breazeales one bc it's going to be whoever lands first . That's just the way it's going to be between fighters like that.

Fury defeated Wilder and it's still 50/50..

A fighter who can take a great punch and box is going to be difficult if they can match his dimensions. We know who that is.

The guys I would unquestionably pick to beat him in order of chances.

1. Mike Tyson ( would have a field day )
2. Vitali Klitschko ( nightmare all around)
3. Anthony Joshua ( To balanced skill size )
4. Wlad Klitschko ( has the number one weapon ..JAB
5. Lennox Lewis ( dangerous fight but Lewis could nullify him using rough clinching ,inside )

Wlad and Lennox can get KTFO. I think Joshua is doubtful too. I would back Holy to easily beat him though.

For many years Deontay Wilder was compared to Michael Grant on the different boxing forums and comments on YouTube videos. People were saying that prime Lennox Lewis would just came there and demolish Wilder like he did with Michael Grant. But Wilder is completely different fish - you just can't compare him to Grant, Austin or Jefferson.

OK, lets compare him to Michael Grant. Other than having the same height they have nothing common. Wilder hits much, much harder than Grant ever could dream of. Wilder's power is 10 out of 10, Grant's was about 6-6.5 (at best). He wasn't a big puncher - he stopped his opponents on accumulation of punches and scored only 1 one-punch KO - against 43-years-old Francois Botha. Hell, Grant even failed to stop Paul Marinaccio and Lioned Butler, both of whom were KO'ed by Chris Byrd.

But power is just one thing - Wilder is also much faster than Grant, has much better chin (Wilder's chin is average, but Grant's was awful), much better reflexes and much better killer instinct. And yes, Wilder has much better defense.

Lewis wouldn't just came there and try to bumrush Wilder like he did with Grant - he would fight very cautious against Wilder, because if Wilder had landed the same right hand as Grant did at the beginning of the first round, the fight would be over for Lennox.

I'd expect prime Lewis and prime Wlad to chose defensively-oriented style of fighting against Wilder. They would outbox him due to their far superior skills and probably stop him in 6-8 rounds, but they wouldn't just come and demolish him like some people think.

Wilder was so embarrassed and beat up by wlad in sparring that when Wilder won the belt they outright said wilder would not fight Wlad because he was not ready.
